My holiday wreath is an older one and it takes two d size batteries. Rather than buying d size batteries for just a few weeks since I don't have any flashlights that use the size batteries anymore, I came across this on Amazon. You simply slide a double A battery inside this d size battery adapter and insert in your device or toy. I use rechargeable batteries and have been using them for 20 plus years. Anyway, this works great and I highly recommend it.

I have two portable music keyboards, one takes 6 C and one takes 6 D. Only used the D so far. They seemed to work great and fit as you would expect. The life for regular AA alkaline batteries is probably less than D cells but unless I think I'll use a device a lot I won't buy rechargeable batteries for it anymore. I'm going all out AA now.

use them for the Christmas devices, and they are still running, actually this item rates a "10"

Does not work. Inadequate to make the connection from normal battery to anything. Product does not function at all. Tried to return, UPS did not accept. Not worth my time to go back again.

Work great. Allowed me to use rechargeable batteries in my boombox instead of finding 6 D cells Everytime. Only complaint is there is no bottom clasp to keep the battery in the adapter, so it can be difficult to maneuver several into one device at a time.

Ok so these are perfect for a led flash Light. I put them in my 3 D cell mag light. I used high Milliamp nickle metal hydride rechargeable batteries aa. Works perfect. Now if you want the weight of batteries to go with your light then these won't work for weight.
