This was an excellent purchase. The parts are all very sleek, sturdy, and well-made, and the entire post/gooseneck is covered in a smooth (matte) plastic cover, so no pinching. Very easy to put together, you don't really need the instructions unless you want to know what the control buttons do. The buttons register your touch like a phone screen, no mechanical part to break! This lamp really feels like it is made to last for years. The light bar is very wide and covers my entire work space. I haven't played with moving the two arms around because the light distribution is perfect for papers, keyboard, clipboard, and mouse space. Very highly recommended!!

Genuinely love this product - it was very easy to set up, it's very stable (yet flexible/bendy), and has excellent light options (both brightness and hue). The brightest setting is super bright (I tilt it a bit up towards my ceiling to avoid blinding people when they walk into the room). It's excellent as a functional light for getting work done, but it's also pleasant as a mood light when I'm sitting on the other side of the room. Definitely feel it was worth the price and would buy again / recommend to friends.

Let’s just say, I made a great investment by purchasing this computer desk lamp. It’s made very well, has some weight to it and functions perfectly. Things it does: • Sensor allows the light to dim or go bright. • It has cold, medium and warm light modes. • Buttons do not require a hard push. • The neck of the computer desk lamp can be adjusted to various angles. • I have received many compliments. If you buy this computer desk lamp, you will be a satisfied buyer. If you don’t, you have issues.

All in all great desk lamp. I love that it is slim, not invasive, and lights up the whole desk. The ability to have it on 'auto' is excellent but love that you can change the temperature of the light on your own. The craftsmanship of this light is nice, with smooth aluminum casing and touch buttons on the top giving this piece a sleek minimalist approach to alternative desk lamps. From the lamp to the arm, the quality of the material is impressive. The rubber neck gives it a smooth and soft feel without kinking the material when you bend it. The vertical arm is half flexible and sturdy, with a nice aluminum arm that runs down to the clamp. The vise or clamp grabs the desk nicely and firmly without damaging your tabletop. The lamp does what it's advertised, and can light up a large surface area (My desk a 30" D x 60" W) without a problem. The lamp doesn't produce a glare on the screen or blind the user while seated at the desk. Cons: Versatility: This hurts me, and it comes from how you set your desk up. For me, the large clamp for the lamp takes up too much space. I had to move the LG monitor up about 3-4', taking up that valuable desk space for the lamp. The arm for the lamp also towered over my lower monitor and protruded out, blocking my second monitor above the light. It would have taken a lot to move the monitor up an extra 4-5" to clear the lamp. I wish you all had wall mounting options for this lamp beside desk options. In the meantime, I have designed and 3D printed a wall mount for this lamp. Please forgive me, but I had to take apart the arm to get access to the cable that runs inside, which the arm was really well crafted! Mounting the light to the wall allowed me to regain my desk space, set the light to the right level between the two monitors, and still be able to light my whole desk with this amazing lamp! I hope you all consider designing and making a wall mount option for this lamp so that others may also have that option if necessary. This could set this lamp apart from other lamps and manufacturers that designed lamps with just a desk clamp. Disclaimer: The original arm is not presented in my pictures. The white arm/wall mount is a modification to what the manufacturer has not included in the original kit. The light itself isn't modded, just what it is mounted to.

I've had the lamp for just over three years and I purchased a four year extended warranty and I’m glad I did because the problem that I started experiencing 3 days ago is similar to what is stated in the AI overall review: AI: "...while it works well initially, some report it stops working after two weeks. Moreover, the turn-off feature is problematic, with customers noting that it won't turn off completely and the power button stops working." Me: Three days ago when I went to power it off it was still on, but very dim and it would not turn off at all. I contacted the seller and there’s something that's defective in there that caused it.. But for me to have been using it for over three years before that problem started is much better than the AI overall statement, saying some customers experienced it within just a few weeks of using the item. Aside from that it's an excellent lamp and I am buying another one from the same company because I’m very pleased with it.

I needed a simple lamp with a long enough neck to reach over my computer monitors. Most of the desk lamps I came across were too short or the longer “gooseneck” lamps required mounting to the desk, which would not work for me as my desk has a hutch. The base is heavy-duty enough that there is virtually no chance of the lamp tipping, which I really appreciate. The dynamic lighting adjustments offered with brightness and color are really nice. I didn’t need or want an overly bright light so I keep the brightness almost to the minimum setting and the color somewhere in between cool and warm. The pictures I took actually make it appear as though I have the brightness turned up, but that is not so. As you can see though, it’s a perfect fit and illuminates my work area sufficiently. For the price, I find this to be a decent quality lamp. As long as it continues to function properly, my 5 star rating stands.

ORIGINA REVIEW: Lamp has never really work right. It was always going flickering or going out but, I just used to touch it and then it would go back on or stop flickering. At three and a half months it quit all together. Only had a 30 day warranty to begin with. That should have been a clue. UPDATE: I was wrong on several points. First I should say the light was great. Not only did it illuminate my computer and key board, it also illuminated the work area of my desk. I really saw the difference. I've had smaller light that clamp on my computer, but they have never worked as well. I was unhappy with the constant failure to turn on without fiddling with it. So I posted my first review when angry. The manufacturer read my review and contacted me. I explained what had happened and they said they would send me a new one or give me a refund. My new light went together with out any issues and I have had not issues at all with it turning on. I am so sorry that I never contacted the MGF first. They have been nothing be gracias and helpful. I was really impressed by their actions after sending me the new light. Rather than stop there, they followed up to make sure I had received it and that it was working to expectations. They then asked if I would help then identify the faulty part (only 3 parts) so that they could give that info to their engineers. I was impressed!

I absolutely love this item and I wish I had bought this earlier. As I am working from home, I have to either sit in a dark room or turn on the room lights at night. Since I do not have curtains and have windows on two sides of the room, I have been hesitating about turning the lights on which would expose the entire room to all the neighbors. So finally I decided to get a desk lamp (that I have never heard of before) because of my friend's recommendation. Now, I can use my laptop with enough light while the room is very dark and I am probably not very visible either. The packaging is wonderful, all parts are secure with foams inside the box. The assembly took about 1-2 minutes and I did not even need to look at the manual. It comes with all you need: 4 screws and a screwdriver. I love it when manufacturers think about customers and put everything inside the package. It has a durable silicone neck that you can adjust the lamp bar with. The lamp bar has 4 switches: ON/OFF, auto-adjustment mode, color temperature, and brightness settings. The base is very stable with 4 stoppers at the bottom. Even the lowest brightness provides enough light for reading. This is an absolute game-changer. I highly recommend it.
