Fun way to store change
Works perfectly! A little big. But fun way to store change. Had to be assembled.

A really neat gift for any age.
This thing is so cool. Easy to assemble and really fun. It felt a little wobbly at first but once I added some coins the weight stabilized it. I put some fun time tokens in and wow, its like they were made for it, each one spun for much longer than a regular coin. Would recommend.

Fun to watch
Fun to watch. Fun to save. My only complaint is it's a bit flimsy. IMHO the plastic should be a bit thicker/firmer. That is the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars. It is pretty cool though.

Great Autistic Entertainment
Was trying to find a non-electronic activity for my 8 yr old autistic granddaughter for Christmas. Nailed it. She enjoys it so much I could not take off a star for the thin plastic. If you take care to twist it open using the black collar and don't put pressure on the clear sheeting it should last for years. It's not just the autistic kids that like it. In fact it's not just the kids...! I am considering buying a second one to keep at my house. It's that cool.

Great action, poor build quality
5 stars for the fun; this works well once put together and my 1 year old son loves watching the coins swirl down the vortex (as do I). 1 star for materials quality; the clear plastic is super super thin and crushes too easily. There are already some wrinkles in the plastic after a day of playing with it. It's still work fine for now, but at this rate I'm not sure how long it'll last. I was expecting something thicker and more robust. Echo others that the 4 tiny screws are a PITA; I have a micro driver so it wasn't a problem, but it's not a very enduser friendly screw. I'd rather pay more money for thicker plastic. Overall the action is so good I can't fairly rate it below 3 stars because it's still really fun and compelling to use but ever time I have to touch the sides a small jolt of disappointment tingles through my fingers. C'mon guys put another $10 materials cost into this thing.

Way more fun than an adult should have
If you're looking at this, buy it. This little gadget is a ridiculous amount of fun and endless amounts of entertainment. This arrives with a small bit of assembly required, but once it is put together, the fun instantly begins. My husband and I used no less than $20 in our loose change racing different size coins and watch them spiral down to their final landing place. It is hypnotic and just makes you feel all warm inside, watching the coins circle faster and faster down the funnel. The box advertises this as a learning opportunity to get hands on experience with a vortex, but I'm not going to lie to you, the only thing we learned is that we can be entertained by the simplest things for a long time. As an added bonus, you make a few bucks off your easily entertained friends and family as well, especially encouraging them to watch, "how cool a quarter swirls down". I would definitely recommend this product to anyone in search of a vortex bank or time killer.

This could be a great item. It works as promised and is very cool to watch the coins go around. My issue is that the plastic is very thin and flimsy. I cracked it during assembly using very little force. I can't imagine that it would hold up if filled with heavy coins. Too much money for the quality of the plastic.

A gift for curious minds
Very cool. This Christmas gift was a hit. I gave it to a 3-year old, although not designed for someone that young. I like toys that peak curiosity in the magical laws of the universe.
