The brightness flickered from the first day of use and then it just died. Another piece of junk for the landfill. Update: It was a mouse that chewed the wire. Repaired and working.

I absolutely love this clock! I would 100% buy one again and have already recommended it to others. I mounted mine above my TV in my home office. Its a perfect size for the space I had there and I have a clear line of sight to it. Its 11.5 feet from my eyes to the clock face and the size of the numbers is just right; they're small enough I can take in the numbers at a glance but they're large enough I dont have to extend effort to make them out. I can easily glacne over at it and read it with no effort or strain. As far as brightness, I actually keep mine on the lowest setting when its on. I havent wanted anymore brightness than that. Granted I dont have a big window or door shining tons of light in my room so depending on your lighting situation you may want to turn it up more. One of my very favorite parts about the brightness is the fact that you can completely turn off the display. There is a guest bed in this room and even the lowest brightness setting is a bit bright in a dark room so being able to turn the display off is so amazing. It's one simple button press of the remote to toggle it on or off. I havent used any of the other features of the clock so I cant comment on them but as a clock, I LOVE IT. Oh! And having the calendar info displayed is another thing I love. I can never remember the date so it's handy to have it at a glance.

This was nice and bright and dimmed well but the day and date were hard to read so I sent it back.

I bought this product 3 1/2 months ago. There are several things I would like to review on this item First, is the battery backup location. It is located in the center back on the bottom where the cord storage is. I tried for 40 minutes to insert the two small batteries required for backup. I was unsuccessful in my several attempts! I live in a rural area that has power outages several times a month. Every time the power goes out I have to reset the whole clock. A royal pain in the ****! Secondly, while the indoor temperature is pretty convenient, it started acting up on me about a month ago. The temp and the date rotate on the display. One time, the temperature would read 77 degrees. The next time it would read 63 degrees. I physically checked to make sure there wasn't anything exhausting, or venting on the back of the clock. The back of the clock was clear. So the temp gage was malfunctioning. Lastly, last night was a severe thunderstorm in my area. I have the clock, my television, my weather station, all powered through a surge protector. In the thunderstorm last night we had a close miss and the power went off briefly. When it came back on, the display on the clock was messed up. I tried to reset the time and date, To no avail. The clock was fried! I specifically bought this clock because I am visually impaired and needed something that was easier to read. My overall rating of this product is poor. The inability to install backup batteries, the malfunction of the temperature sensor, in itself is not enough for the money I paid for the clock. I would suggest looking elsewhere for a reliable product.

Perfect clock for my wood shop. I can easily see it from all the way across my basement. The built in timer is fantastic when applying finish to a project or needing to time a glue up - I set the timer so I can tell when it is done. Multiple uses, nice thermometer built into the unit. I couldn't be happier.

I just wish it had a remote so I could set it. Good for teenagers. Loud and big. Mount it on the wall across the room so they HAVE to get out of bed to shut it off. This one was best as the cord allows it to be mounted flat on the wall unlike many others.

This clock is an asset to our shop, we have two in the shop. It's what we needed for a long time. Very easy to use and has a large LED display. Perfect for what we required.
