Alpine Corporation 11" Tall Waterproof Bluetooth Solar-Powered Wireless Rock Speaker with 50 Foot Range High-Fidelity Sound, and Portable Audio System, Gray

This is one of the best things purchased through Amazon. We have had it for two years. It stays outside all the time in the New England spring, summer, and fall. We bring it inside in the winter. It’s first charged we plugged it in. From then on the solar panel has powered it. It is always charged outside which is exactly what I wanted. We go out to the pool and can just turn it on and it powers right up. Even after the winter it didn’t need to be plugged in to charge just charged from the solar panels. Other wireless speakers would lose a charge then we’d go to bring them outside and they would need to be charged. This just always read when needed. It also has great sound that spreads throughout my yard and patio. We love it!

I received the speaker and it was small. Only 7 inches tall. The one I ordered was supposed to be 11 inches tall. No markings on it stating it was an Alpine speaker. No markings at all. The box was banged up and was sliced on the side. I don’t even think it’s the right speaker tbh. I had purchased an Alpine speaker previously and it was an incredible product. Going to return it Just an update. I returned it and bought it again! So happy with it. Beautiful sound and it was the correct product this time. I highly recommend the speaker!

This speaker is great for outdoors. It stays charged as long as the solar panel is placed where it gets full sun. I bring it in when I know it is going to rain just to protect it, but It has been out in the rain a few times and held up fine. It connects really well and seems to have a good distance. It will connect when I am in the house so I have to be sure to disconnect it on my phone. It easy to move but the sound seems better when placed higher up like on a table. I would but this speaker again.

The Speakers are great. Pairing was easy and connection stays steady. Sound quality is great. When we had difficulty with the solar charger on one of the units Alpine replaced it. AWESOME customer service. Highly recommend Alpine and these speakers

we bought this for use out by our pool and hot tub. We have the surround sound in our living room wired to two ceiling mounted speakers on our patio, but the receiver treats them as an additional pair of rear channel speakers, so for the music to be audible over the sound of the hot tub, we have to have it really loud inside the house, which is usually fine for when we're having a party, but not ideal for every day use. This speaker is a nice compromise. Just pair with your phone and play some music. The sound quality is decent -- pretty much on par with any decent boombox. My only complaint overall is that as you turn the volume up, it seems to aggressively compress the audio signal and roll off more and more bass, I'm guessing to favor volume and clarity over audio fidelity. Don't expect deep booming bass or you'll be disappointed, but at normal listening levels the mids and highs are articulated and clear. The volume level is good, we had it up pretty loud last night and didn't notice any distortion at a level that was uncomfortably loud. We haven't used it long enough to run the batteries out yet so I can't really speak to how long it lasts but we used it for a few hours after the sun went down and it lasted well into the evening when we decided to wrap it up for the night. It would be nice if you could pair more than one of these to the same phone, but for the purpose of getting music out by the pool, this does the job well.

Don’t waste your money. I bought two. One stopped connecting by bluetooth within a couple of months. Even when brand new, the sound quality from the speakers reminded me of the muddy glop that emerged from the “transistor” radio my family brought to the beach in the 1960s. And, well, they’re pretty ugly, to boot. I feel like my money was wasted on these speakers and wish I had known when I bought them what I know now.

I had this speaker since June 2023. It worked great for me. I only power charged it the first time and since then it was solar powered only. I was doing yard work yesterday and wanted to turn on my music and it would not start or connect. I am in Portland Oregon, so a lot of gloomy days lately so maybe not enough sun to charge it. I will plug it in today and see if that will do the trick, but if not, I got great 2.5 years out of it for about $50 something and see that they are currently on sale so I'd get a replacement.

The sound quality of the speaker is amazingly clear. Ease of connectivity. The speaker is a great value for the money and very portable. Overall a great value for the money. The only issue I have is I bought 2 and didn’t realize I couldn’t sync them!

Great unit for the backyard! Sound is good and looks great. Easily goes for 8-10 hours on a charge

I bought it 2-3 months ago. Since then I am enjoying nice music on my backyard. Blends with the surrounding nature and the only intrusion is the music you want to listen. Easy PNP, good sound quality and fidelity and so far no need for any charging as it is solar powered. I would have liked a stereo one and that is what I am missing
