Absolutely. This is what you need. It is a direct factory replacement 5-way selector switch from Fender. For the Fender Modern Player Telecaster with three pickups, and needing a 5-way selector, this is the part you need.

Q: Will there be any problems if used with 500k pots and pickups?

500K pots are usually used with humbuckers, so no. If you tried a 500K pot on a single coil, it wouldn't sound like a bright single coil anymore, but a muted muddy mess. This is a drop in replacement for a Fender Stratocaster, which are usually single coils. Some recently have been humbucker single single (bridge HB only, split HB, middle, idle and neck, and neck), or twin humbuckers (bridge, split HB, bridge and neck, split neck, neck). So, no the answer to your question is that no this switch won't be a problem with those pots and the proper pickup.
