Police Cruiser Playset

What a fantastic toy for such an affordable price. Great gift for my son, and I will be buying another one for his friend’s birthday. It was so easy to assemble, and the instructions were very clear. I can tell it will last forever. Playmobil always makes such high quality, durable toys. Unlike Legos (which I also love), cleaning up is so easy as this car doesn’t break apart and there isn’t a ton of pieces you need to worry about losing or having to put back together. I definitely recommend this toy.

This is a great toy! My grandson loves police cars and fire trucks. I was a bit hesitant to buy this as I wasn't sure how sturdy it was. My grandson can be a bit rough on toys. There is some assembly required, but it goes together easily. My grandson loves it, loves the lights on top, and it's a good size for him to play with. The top comes off fairly easily, and I was a bit concerned about that, but it snaps into place easily, too, and my 4 year old grandson can manage taking it off and on by himself. Highly recommend for children who love police cars!

First, I don't know why playmobil avoid making cars/trucks where doors can open? That is the only con for this police car (and any other car from playmobil). Else it is well made, the lights isn't too bright and love that the trunk can open. I bought it for my almost 3 year old and he can put on the roof (needed a tiny bit of practice first). I took away the policemens accessories to avoid a choking hazard. The car has a great size and is also fun to play with without the roof.

Very nice car, obviously built well. If you have very young kids playing with it, like all PLAYMOBIL sets, there are some small parts that can detach. I glued-in the side mirrors. The roof comes off in two pieces to place the figures inside the car, may be a little too complicated to fit back together for children 2 or 3 years old (young for PLAYMOBIL anyway). The lights are great, but there are no sirens. My son got over that fast, but definitely expected a siren. This is probably a minor disappointment for the kids, but probably a huge plus for parents who don't have to listen to police sirens all day.

My son is obsessed with his police cruiser. The only downside is the “red light” is more yellow/orange.. so it’s not as appealing as the flashing red/blue one would expect. It also doesn’t have sound… not sure if it’s supposed to but it would have been appreciated. I would return but son is already attached. Maybe the company has a replacement light bar I can get… (long shot)

This is our son's favorite toy, bar none. He plays with it every single day, even takes it to bed at night. The car is plastic, but solidly built. The roof, windshield, tires, front grille, and rear spoiler snap on/off, and the police lights flash like a real police car. Thank heaven it does not include any loud, obnoxious sirens or noises; the lights are the only battery-powered feature on it. It's the perfect size for a four-year old child to play with, too--not too large or too small. After months of play and repeated disassembly and reassembly, the car still snaps together snugly and rolls smoothly across smooth surfaces. The lights stopped working after our son took it into the tub with him one time, so we bought another identical car to replace the old one, because he just plays with it so much. Now he enjoys swapping parts between the two cars--win/win! Your mileage may vary, but for our household it is the stuff. As a wannabe-engineer and full-time IT geek, I admire the solid design and proportions of the car, and I enjoy playing cops and robbers with my son (I play the robber, and he arrests my Hot Wheels car by putting it in the back seat).

I can't say enough about these toys. My son received the ambulance, police car, and pirate ship for Christmas. Once he opened them, nothing else mattered. I've watched him take pirates to the hospital in the ambulance and arrest them on the pirate ship. The pirates have come back home "good guys" and now they're on the police sqaud. This is exactly what I hoped for! We are seeing that amazing, imaginative play that most toys available don't foster to. They weren't hard to put together. I set all 3 up in about an hour. The ambulance required no assembly. I made sure to assemble before wrapping them up so they would appeal to him immediately. I will without a doubt buy this brand in the future.

Great toy. The cops crack me up; they look like cops out of Police Academy movies. A little sad the siren doesn't make sound like the Ambulance, but my two year old son still loved it. Also requires assembly, unlike the Ambulance I bought him earlier. Only downside is the attachments like side mirrors and spoiler come off easily during more engaged play, and the front wheels stick so the car can't really roll on its own (Biggest disappointment of all! Hopefully ours was just an anomaly.). With all the small pieces, its definitely a toy I'll want to put away temporarily when the second child is born.

My son loves this Police car. He asked for it consistently for 5 months leading up to Xmas and when he got it, there were no disappointments. It's super easy to put together and kids will love taking it apart and rebuilding it. Everything feels really well made and Playmobil did us parents a big favour by having the sirens only flashing light. The car is about the right size, I wish it was a little bigger but I guess I'm not the one playing with it. It feels sturdy and like it will last. The only weak areas are the wing mirrors and continued rough play will break them. I superglue them both in to avoid them popping out or breaking.

Great police car set, lots of imaginative play. Lots of great details and very durable. Police lights flash (you’ve got to provide the 2 AAA batteries), but no loud, annoying siren that leaves you momentarily wondering if your shady past has finally caught up with you. Enjoyable cop depictions; roof comes off so that you can stick them wherever....maybe even in the trunk, which opens. Fun tones for all.

Awesome product and highly recommend for anyone who is looking to buy this for their kids, of course please mindful about the age. My son is love the toy and this has become his favourite police car. He is growing into it and Easy to assemble and high quality. Fast shipping and packaged nicely. Quality product and impressive, I will be buying my son more on these Playmobil range.
