Oriental Trading never disappoints. I am carving designs (chip carving) onto the covers, and these boxes are perfect for me to practice. If I mess one up, no big deal. If it comes out nice, I will stain it and it will become a very nice present.

Opened package to a 75% charged unit, which is always awesome. As of right now, everything is AWESOME! Will update to a 5 star after a day or two of use.

These boxes were perfect for the little trinket boxes I wanted to make for my grandkids. They had a nice hinge on them and the magnetic closure was a plus. They did require a light sanding prior to painting. I used acrylic paint (2 coats) on a couple and spray painted a couple of them. Both worked well.
