Q: Hi - how do you use the timer function - I can’t seem to turn it on

On your remote stand close to the battery pack press the on button select which function you want by selecting the number. I have mine on number 8 then press the timer button the lights so flicker. That’s it. The time you press the timer button is the time they will switch on every day. Mine are set for 4.30 and go off at 10.30. Hope this helps

Q: How this light going to be work?

Dear customer, before using this product, please unplug the jammed paper at the bottom of the remote control and turn on the power. "ON" and "OFF" on the remote control are the switch keys. The numbers from 1 to 8 are the mode selection. The buttons with "-" and "+" are used to control the brightness of the light. You can choose the appropriate mode and brightness. The "TIMER" button is a timer function. After starting, the lamp will work for 6 hours, rest for 18 hours, and continue to cycle until the battery is exhausted. I hope my answer is helpful to you.

Q: not very bright and brightness controls don’t do anything?

Mine were bright enough for my needs. No way to increase but try an alternative setting.
