Mekar 91031 Stretch Belt Installation Engine Tool Fit for Subaru 2.5L Engines

This product worked perfectly on my 2013 Subaru Impreza WRX for installing the stretch belt. I had doubts the bolt would even screw in where it needed to go but that wasn’t a problem at all. The metal retaining bracket worked fine to prevent the belt from moving off the AC pulley (I may have had to use my right hand a couple times to ensure it didn’t come off). The black piece fit perfectly on the crank pulley with the lip going into the groove on the pulley and the metal retainer held it in against the pulley without issue. Yes, I had to watch a couple of Youtube videos to understand how it all worked but I’m glad the part itself fit and worked perfectly. Tough to pass this up at $12 for the same product as high as $80 elsewhere

Love this little tool helps a lot when installing new AC tension belt. Just dont fasten down the metal bracket too tight other wise the belt might seat inward misaligned

Tool works exactly as intended if you get the clip set properly. Wedge is plastic but for a vehicle owner gets the job done.

I was skeptical at first but worked really well. Build quality was mid but if it works it works.
