Slick Ergenomic Protection
This came in the mail a few days ago. It is just what I wanted! Protection, sleek cover, and a pen holder at a fraction of the cost of the name brand folios. Pros: - Holds Remarkable2 magnetically so that the screen isn't covered and the corners aren't clipped. - The magnets are strong enough that I can flip the case upside down while it is open without the tablet falling off. - The case lies completely flat when it is folded open on itself (with the back cover under the front cover). No angles or incline, so it feels almost like you are holding the tablet itself. - I got the grey color. Fabric is soft. Almost feels like leather! - Holds the pen so I don't have to buy a a slip on pen sleeve, keeping the slim folio design. (The cases by Remarkable either flip open OR have a built in pen holder - not both.) - The magnets secure the folio closed when I close it so it doesn't flip open. Cons (expected since this is an off-brand case): - The case is slim, so I expect that the corners and edges will wear over time time. The trim will probably go first, which I was a little bummed about for the price. - The pen has to be in just the right spot for the magnets on the front cover to touch the back cover. I usually have to adjust my pen a little bit when I close the case. - This case does not autimatically put the tablet in sleep mode when it is closed. Overall a great product. Ayotu definitely designed this with user needs in mind!

Perfect fit!
I tried a different case however the fit wasn’t great and it added too much bulk to an otherwise slim device. My husband has this exact case and we love it so I got one too. I hot glued an embroidered bee to the corner of mine so we can tell them apart (see image). The case feels high quality and the magnet that keeps reMarkable 2 in the case is strong but not overly strong. They seem to have found a way to protect the device without adding much bulk or weight. The marker sleeve is tight at first but over time stretches a bit to fit. Also the magnetic tabs above and below the marker work well to keep the cover closed and add a bit more security for the marker. Folding the cover open to use the tablet flat on the table works very well (even with the little bee glued to the corner shown in the photo). One other note, the company offers several versions. The one I have does have a marker sleeve and the device is held in via a magnet. Some others use 3M adhesive instead or don’t have a marker sleeve. With no marker sleeve the marker sticks outside the case and can get inadvertently knocked off, especially when in a bag. I enjoy the option to take reMarkable out of the case so went with the magnet option rather than 3M adhesive. Look closely at the version you are buying and make sure it matches your needs.

Elegant, light and secure
Instead of buying an ultra-expensive OEM case, I have worked my way through about 4 Amazon-available cases since I got my ReMarkable 2, including the rotating ones, the ones with the fabric sleeve on the back for the stylus etc. I bought this one (the marble-grey cover with the pen holder) because the specs made it seem lighter than the others and that is absolutely the case. The case is so light and so practical compared to others that I actually feel like I'm using an upgraded tablet, not just a new case. The cover magnetically attaches to the back so it stays securely closed while you're writing on the tablet, and the pen stays firmly in the sleeve. I'm using the fancier pen with the eraser function, which is a little thicker, and I am havng no issues securing it. The only negative I can see (and this is minor) is that the inside cover is this soft porous fabric. It's very gentle on the tablet screen, but folded back and set on a table could pick up stains easily. If you don't want to pay a fortune for the folios from ReMarkable, I highly recommend picking this one up. It's a little pricier than some on Amazon but well worth the money.

Pen holder issue
First, the cover as a whole is very nice. The tablet fits great and the magnets are just as secure as other covers out there. My only issue with the cover is the pen holder. After a few months of use it has loosened causing the pen to be able to work its way out of there on it's own. I didn't realize this until I was at the grocery store and had my remarkable in the kid part of the basket and at I was walking the pen slid through the holder and fell to the ground breaking the tip of the pen so that now the nibs don't stay in well. I get that because the holder loop is leather that it will stretch over time but didn't think it would happen this quickly. I actually wouldn't mind it that piece were an elastic strap. It's not to deter you from buying as I still believe this to be a great product, just be aware so that you can keep an eye on it and not trust the pen holder too much!

Good case at a great price
After I realized that I simply didn’t feel like the Folio or Cover cases were worth the cost and returning them to Remarkable, I took a chance on the Ayotu Nonfolding Case for the Remarkable 2. It has been very good! It attaches to the remarkable via a very strong tape and the case indicates where the tablet should be placed based on the rubber feet on the back of the tablet. It seems to hold well. Has a great pen loop for the marker and closes via magnets - which don’t affect the screen. The tablet feels protected in the case and it doesn’t add much bulk. No idea what it is made of but feels a lot like the material on my Apple iPad Pro Magic Keyboard. Highly recommended and a steal at $30!

I love this product. Fits the ReMarkable 2 product perfectly, is half the price of the official ReMarkable folios and infinitely superior. Why? Because it has a stylus/pen holder to stop it falling off and getting either damaged or lost. Such a simple design feature you have to wonder why the product design geniuses at ReMarkable haven't figured this out. I have ditched my official ReMarkable folio because the day I spent enrolling at university resulted in the pen falling off its supposedly strong magnet endlessly, someone trod on it, I lost it several times and had to retrace my steps to find it and I had to replace the stylus nib even though the damaged one was only a couple of days old. Cannot fault the Ayotu case. Seriously, don't bother with the ReMarkable products - they are not worth the considerable price premium and are inferior to the Ayotu anyway. I got the the Skin Feeling Grey cover option and it's super elegant and nice.

After several months of use, I'd say this case is good. Only gripe is durability near the folding area, already can see micro tear in the fabric not sure if it will expand over time. Otherwise very aesthetic and robust case. The pen holder is a plus, I don't always use the magnet when storing it so the pen holder comes in handy for that.

I recently purchased the Ayotu Skin Touch Feeling Non-Folding Case for the Remarkable 2 Paper Tablet, and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. This case has proven to be a reliable and stylish accessory for my tablet. Firstly, the PU leather material used in this case gives it a premium feel without adding excessive weight. The touch feeling is smooth and comfortable to hold, allowing me to handle the tablet with confidence. The case also fits the Remarkable 2 perfectly, providing a snug and secure fit that protects the tablet from scratches and minor impacts. One of the standout features of this case is its smart cover capability. The magnetic closure not only keeps the case securely closed when not in use, but it also automatically wakes or puts my Remarkable 2 to sleep when opening or closing the cover, which is a convenient feature that helps conserve battery life. The design of the case is minimalist and professional, suiting the sleek aesthetic of the Remarkable 2. The cutouts for the buttons, ports, and camera are accurate, allowing easy access to all functions of the tablet without interference. Additionally, the non-folding design makes it easy to use the tablet in landscape or portrait mode without any hassle. I have been using this case for a few weeks now, and it has proven to be durable and long-lasting. The stitching is well done and shows no signs of coming undone, ensuring that the case will continue to protect my tablet for a long time. Overall, I highly recommend the Ayotu Skin Touch Feeling Non-Folding Case for the Remarkable 2 Paper Tablet. It offers excellent protection, a sleek design, and premium materials that enhance the overall experience of using the Remarkable 2. Whether you need a case for everyday use or for traveling, this case is a reliable and stylish option.

Not as the original premium material, but it is very good value and material.

The case feels good however, the pen does not fit in its slot and I received my case with a small tear.
