This is a great grinder. I was able to grind down tough root herbs. Takes a bit of aligning them properly as to avoid them getting stuck under the blade but once you get it, its effortless. Grounds most to nearly powder perhaps leaving a few very small chunks but in my case its smaller and more workable than its original form. Doesnt need much to grind them properly tho each herb is different so I'd recommend adding and adjusting as you go to get your desired result. I'm impressed as its exactly what I needed and did s much better job than expected. Grinds quickly, is a bit noisy depending on the hardiness of the herb/root but totally worth it. I love that it has an inner lid to assist with spillage and is small enough for portability and storage. Its also very easy to clean after each use. I highly recommend this small yet powerful grinder for all your grinding needs. So far I've only tried dried herbs and roots but once I get a chance to grind something wet and hardy like fresh ginger, I'll come back and update.

Works better than other ones I have tried. Got my cinnamon ground very fine. Just need to put it in a bowl because some will come out as you grind

Was looking for something small to grind flaxseeds .. Most graters the flaxseeds being so small don't grate them open which is the best way to get the benefits from them .. If use as is.. they go through you so best to grind the seeds open.. This worked GREAT on them tiny seeds.. Worked as I hoped.. 😊

Bought this to grind up spices and not coffee and it didn't disappoint, the grind quality is amazing. It is extremely easy to use and produces a nice powder for any spice or chili pepper I have thrown in it, and has a large enough capacity to fit more than enough to grind what I need in a single run. The product feels well made and very durable, and looks great sitting on the counter as well. I look forward to grinding up many spices with this over the years.

Plug does not stay in place. It's very annoying. When grinding, herb leaves on bottom of the grinder are ground to a powder while the top stays in tact. I've tried to shake it to get all leaves. Even then, grind quality is inconsistent and ranges from powder to partial leaves. Too late to return

In the summer I grow some herbs for cooking, then harvest & dry them. When grinding time comes, I had an old arthritic manual grinder, at the end of its life. So, I looked at what's available, many choices, but I wanted it compact in size, yet strong enough to handle stems & leaves. COOL KNIGHT is everything I wanted and more! It's quiet, completely enclosed (no mess), very powerful and even cute looking. I love it and find the price extremely reasonable.

A few items that were disappointing that could be my fault and one that makes it un-usable for me longer term. I wasn't expecting it to be this big (my fault, see the pic) and it to be plastic (I thought it would be actually wood - again, blame that on me). The inner lid can be easy to forget to put on and, if you do forget to put it on, the ground seeds fall out everywhere including down the sides between the lower unit and the un-attachable top unit. So, they're stuck down there somewhere forever. But the thing that really surprised me is that you cannot clean the grinding container. It cannot be detached from the lower motor unit so you cannot use water at all to clean it. The instructions say to wipe clean with a cloth. Well, that is (1) tricky with the sharp blade and (2) will not really get it that clean. It does work well for grinding flax seeds which is what I bought it for. And the price is quite decent.
