I needed a new camera for calls and streaming. This camera was affordable, really easy to setup, works well and looks good and for the price it’s worth it! I needed a good quality camera and the 2k focuses really well and has a good angle range! It’s really durable and doesn’t fall off my monitors. I would say the 2k quality is amazing but for work calls/calling friends & family the 1k is just as good. For streaming/video recording I would recommend the 2k or 4k. It doesn’t block any of the screen so you can still see the top of your screen fine. The camera cover is a good idea for privacy or when you don't need to use your camera and it’s a great idea.

Item came in a small package undamaged. Extremely easy to use, simply plug in and use an app that uses your camera. Connectivity isn’t an issue at all. Quality is quite good too! It is very clear and there isn’t any freezes with it at all. It is compatible with all laptops and PCs. The privacy on this camera is amazing, the physical shutter allows you to prevent any nosy peeps!

Bought to use when working from home rather than opening my laptop for zoom calls. Sits nicely on top of my monitor and works as expected. Decent picture and good value for money. Can't go wrong.

Great product with quality features for the price. Originally purchased to attend an online training course in 2022, attached it to a tripod and logged into the course, all worked a treat. A few years on and it is now connected to my sim racing rig and used as a head tracker for driving games. Using opentrack and beam eye tracker it works really well.

Yimona’s HD camera has really delivered. Lovely sleek design and build – easy plug in and play and no difficult install procedures. I bought it for work teams calls and everyone has been remarking on how crisp and clear the video and audio is, so I couldn’t be more happier. The sliding privacy screen is also a reassuring feature that means I can block the camera when I’m not using it or if I want to make audio calls only using the cameras built in mics. I also like the hinged attachment clip which allows it to sit securely and level on top of my monitor. Overall its performing exactly as I require so I couldn’t recommend it more highly. 10 / 10.

Very pleased with this camera, resolution is same or better my company’s Dell laptop. I like how I can decide where exactly the camera will look at. It was easily installed into my docking station, using the USB cable from camera, there is no secret and anyone can do it. The size is perfect, not so big and I love that it has a privacy element that can be closed after using camera. I’ve been using it for a few months now, so handy. It’s great.

However, the camera’s field of view (FOV) is quite wide, which can be both a pro and a con depending on your needs. On the positive side, it captures more of your background, which can be useful in group settings or if you want to show off your workspace. On the downside, for solo use, the wide FOV can make it difficult to focus attention on yourself without revealing more of your surroundings than you might like. You might find yourself needing to reposition or crop your video feed to get the framing just right. One of the more significant drawbacks of the YIMONA webcam is its built-in microphone. Unfortunately, the audio quality is subpar, with sound coming through as tinny and distant. For those who require clear audio for communication or content creation, I’d strongly recommend using an external microphone to avoid any issues. The difference in quality is night and day. Overall, the YIMONA 1080p Webcam offers excellent video quality for its price and does a solid job for most basic uses. However, the wide field of view and poor microphone quality are worth considering, especially if audio is important for your setup. If you can pair it with a good external mic, this webcam can still be a great addition to your tech arsenal.

Great picture. The only slight negatives are you can’t zoom/crop and also the red light stays on all the time which is annoying. You can however move the cover slightly off centre to cover it so it’s not too big an issue.
