This review is for the Parmigiano Reggiano DOP 24 months 2.2 lb (1kg). The cheese is absolutely delicious. Fast shipping and impeccably packed. This 1kg is one BIG hunk of cheese. They included a large size cheese storage bag. Nice. Will be purchasing this again.

The taste is so good, it's worth the extra cost. I eat some Parmigiano Reggiano cheese almost every day with my salad. It is delicious!

I have been buying this cheese for years and am so happy with it. Every age has a unique and delicious flavor 24 months is the best happy medium, but the younger and older are just as yummy.

So ordering a block of cheese direct from Italy for a premium price seems a little wacky...but how often do you splurge on yourself? Personally, not often. Parmesano reggiano is a tradition and the flavor is unmistakable. I don't use it to make my mac and cheese but do use it for grating over the top of my favorite pastas, soups, veges, fish, as well as adding a few slices to my vege tray and with a glass of wine. This is a very special cheese that cant be copied and is most worth the once-in-a-while splurge. I give this cheese to my beautiful sister for Christmas. She say it's the best cheese she has ever eaten. Since we're itialian she put it many of the dishes that she loves to make. The 1st time she got it she called to tell me that it was as long as from her wrist to her elbow. Wow, what a great product.

This cheese looks unusual with white spots in it but tastes so much better than what you might buy in stores. The 48 month process makes a big difference, you should try it...
