Much different than the "standard" allsorts
I am a huge fan of licorice, and this has been my second favorite of all time. Most other allsorts candy have coconut and other more neutral flavors mixed with licorice, this has bits that taste like strawberry, mixed berry, and lemon, along with some that are probably vanilla or coconut. It's hard to tell, the licorice tends to dominate. These were very soft and chewy, and I am thankful for the price (which is high), or else I would eat a bag every day. They are worth the price.

Best Licorice?
I love this licorice. I have ordered every kind of the mixed licorices on Amazon-to compare. None of them were as flavorful and moist-by moist I mean chewable. The others were dry and crusty, and did not have much flavor. If Wiley Wallaby is not available-I would now rather go without.

Very Tasty
Very tasty but not quite up to the standard of the original Licorice Allsorts from the UK. Less variety than the UK version. But quite moorish, bag didn’t last past two sittings

These don't age well
I'm quite fond of licorice allsorts and have sampled a lot of different ones. The best are from Finland and are just about impossible to find. These are about the second-best, if they are fresh. When good, they have an almost creamy texture and a strong fruity taste and odor. The ones I got from Amazon were not. They had not actually expired but they were hard, almost woody, and had lost most of their flavor. They were still over a year from their expiration date, but maybe they had been subjected to high heat or something. They were nasty. I find that if you buy these from a brick-and-mortar store you can squeeze the bag and tell if they are fresh. Or you can be persnickety and return stale ones to Amazon. This fresh-vs-stale problem, BTW, extends across all brands. The third-best are from New Zealand, very good when fresh, awful when stale. The worst are Gustav's. I've never found fresh ones.

Rubbery texture with no flavor
You know when you buy a cake and they put “edible” decorations on it? Looks great, tastes gross. These are kinda like that. The outer colored part is rubbery with no flavor, the texture is very unpleasant. I expected this brand to have amazing black licorice- nope… had zero licorice taste at all. There was a slight- very slight licorice flavor aftertaste.

Delicious!
The Wiley Wallaby Licorice, Allsorts was actually better tasting than I had expected, not having tried this brand of licorice before. The flavors were true to what they were supposed to be. The candy was fresh, just the proper firmness for this type of licorice candy. I enjoyed this licorice so much that I finished the bag much more quickly than I should have! One thing I would change, though, would be to add more plain licorice pieces in the bag and more of the white and black pieces (they were my favorites--but how could they know that?).

These licorice allsorts were soft and easy to chew but a different sweetner was used that I didn't like and soon got tired of.
