beet zimt sterne available on amazon
bought these this past week and my zimt sterne arrived in pristine condition, contained within an individual white box inside the amazon box. these are the best zimt sterne available on amazon! nice and moist, yes these cookies are not meant to be dry and crumbly. an ignorant wrote they were grainy and moist, obviously someone not accustomed to the finer european things. the "graininess" is due to these containing nuts, the texture is perfect. the flavoring is much more complex than wicklein's zimt sterne, i tasted citrus as well as spices which compliment cinnamon. the only thing missing is not eating these in deutschland.

Love experiencing new tastes
These were a hit at my New Year’s party. Everyone loved the small cookies with the big flavor.

Like Christmas in Germany of the 70s
Lived in West Germany when I was a kid, so I have a different experience of what I’m looking for. These cookies are tiny bites and absolutely perfect, with the ginger orange cookie and light crisp of the icing.

Cute but with an odd taste
Cute enough with only a few broken. Unusual taste however, not cinnamon

A treasured childhood memory restored
These Christmas cookies are ones I grew up with eating every Christmas. The ones I ate were freshly made by a bakery, and while these are not as good, they are still delicious and addictive.

Stale dusty orange with no cinnamon flavor
These tasted like orange peel and stale dust. The shape and texture is exactly as I remember from childhood, but there’s no nutty flavor and the dust-like orange flavor overpowers any cinnamon. I gave it 2 stars for the appearance.

Very tasty, but pooly packaged
The stars arrived in an Amazon envelope and had shifted in their inner, original packaging with the effect of being crumbled, at least 30-40% of them. Still tasty, but could not serve them to friends.
