Awesome bit of kit great starter decks value for money

So in the description it states compatible with computer or smartphones !! I doesn’t not connect to smart phones. I brought this my son for Christmas, he is not able to use it as he doesn’t have a laptop! So what a complete waste of money. I brought it as it states it works with smart phones. I can’t return as he broke the boxes up and binned them. So now I’m left with a dj set that can’t be used and out of pocket. I think it would be a good dj set up if it works with iPad/smartphones but it does NOT. I’m really not happy with this purchase. It’s false advertisement !!

The Hercules DJ beginner set is great value for money if you have a child/teen who wants to get into DJing. The kit is excellent value for money. To give you an idea of how much you are getting, a pair of studio monitors normally costs upwards of £150 for a pair. For the same price, you are getting a basic controller, monitors and headphones. That's pretty neat. You'll need a laptop/PC to download Serato Lite from. Once you've done that, everything works out of the box. You will also need to purchase your own music or rip it from CD's if you have a CD drive on your laptop. This also comes with all the necessary power leads/cables so you can hook up the monitors to the deck and headphones too.
