I've been using the Stanley box cutter for a few months now, and it has become an indispensable tool in my toolbox. The durability of this cutter is exceptional, thanks to its solid metal body that can withstand the rigors of heavy use without any signs of wear or damage. It feels robust and well-made, which is exactly what I need in my line of work. One of the standout features of this box cutter is its heavy-duty design. It handles tough materials with ease, making it perfect for both professional and home use. Whether I'm opening large shipments at work or tackling DIY projects at home, this cutter makes the job effortless. The inclusion of two additional blades is a bonus. It's very convenient as it saves me the hassle and expense of buying replacements anytime soon. Changing the blades is also a breeze, which further enhances my productivity and efficiency. Overall, I highly recommend the Stanley box cutter to anyone in need of a reliable, sturdy, and efficient cutting tool

Good product worth the money. Removing the sticker and glue from the cutter was a hassle.

It is simple, cheap, functional, reliable and durable. I have been using it for more than 3 years now. I bought it from a shop in Delhi for ₹260. Initially I faced difficulty in getting the spare blades. But now the blades are available with most of the Stanley dealers. It is a well made heavy duty knife with die cast zinc body which can really withstand heavy impacts. With one blade the knife weighs 155g. It is 6 inches long. The blade (11-921) can be extended in five different positions up to a maximum of 1 inch. If I remember correctly, the knife came with three 11-921H heavy duty blades. These blades are really sharp and they retain the sharpness for a long time. However, they do have a tendency to rust, especially if you leave them in the storage area inside the handle. To replace the blades you need to open the handle by removing the screw at the side of the handle. The screw can be removed using a coin and you don't need a screwdriver for it. There is a small compartment inside the handle to store the spare blades. It can hold up to five spare blades. But I prefer not to keep any blades in it. The blades in the compartment are not held firmly and rattles a lot while working with the knife. The blades will also start getting rusted if you leave them in the compartment. If you really need to have spare blades then keep only one blade wrapped in plastic. First dip the blade in machine oil then wrap it in plastic. I mainly use it for marking wood for cutting, cutting vinyl etc. It is ideal for scoring the cut line before cutting to prevent splintering. It can also be used for stripping thick insulation. I have used it with the hook blade to cut plexiglass. This is a heavy duty knife and may not be suitable for light and delicate work. For smaller work, knives like the Stanley 10-418 or the Stanley 10-425 are more suitable. Update on 14-Sep-17: I bought another one from Amazon for ₹199. This time I got a made in India knife.

The first hands on impression was just amazing. When you hold it in your hands you know how sturdy heavy it is built and it can withstand anything. It's a heavy (weight) and that's a good thing you don't need to press too hard to cut anything. The blades are super strong and the snap-off blades are no match for it. Sharpness wise it is very sharp but not extraordinary razor sharp as it is meant for heavy duty work. This is my first trapezoidal utility knife so I can't compare the blades with any other brand but these blades are thick and super strong. I tested cutting MDF and popsicle sticks and it cuts 10 times better than any offline market snap-off knives. Overall i got it at 315 and at this price it is worth every penny. You get 2 extra blades in the compartment. One of the best purchases I've made. There is no competition. (Except maybe Taparia UK-3?)

Good strength, purely a box cutter, can’t use it as a paper slicer or paper cutter. Also the blade has started rusting!
