I live in a historic building and the tile in the bathroom is original - butter yellow, black and white. This gives the white toilet a little bit of a retro look. Super easy to install, looks great.

The plastic is solid and the cover has a nice modern look. It fits an American Standard round bowl and the white color is proper. The detachable feature is nice and the bolts are steel. I had a cheaper seat that I gave back - the lid was so thin that you can't sit on it without its collapsing - this one is stronger. If you can't find the instructions that's because they are printed on the outside of the box and are not very clear to read or follow but it does work logically. The inside of the box has the product, two attachment sets and two little rubber feet that go to fill their spaces under the seat. That means that when you drop the seat, rubber, not plastic hits the rim. All in all it is a good product - better than the cheap wooden ones with the heavy lid that doesn't completely cover the seat or the cheap thin plastic ones that collapse. The detachable aspect is a plus but you should be careful not to misalign it.

The mounting holes for this toilet seat are different. Therr is no way to adjust the mounting holes for the seat. This toilet seat is useless.
