These DMC "satin" flosses are beautiful embroidery threads-I love using them in different ways-sparingly and as a splash!

It was what was advertised and it was delivered in a timely manner.

I ordered this for its shine, and it delivers. I was aware beforehand that it is a difficult floss to work with. It is worth the effort to me.

This satin embroidery thread is very nice. No tangles and it really looks nice on the picture I used it for. It was shipped in a timely manner.

While I love the color and shine of this floss, the qualities that make it look so nice makes it a pain to work with. The strands separate and bunch up, love to tangle, and refuse to be smoothed. Know this going in and you can adjust your stitching and take your time to help avoid frustration. I believe the end result will be worth it.

I love the ease of use of this floss, and the gorgeous sheen. I find metallic thread very fiddly because it has to be frequently waxed, and it frays anyway. This will be my go-to means of adding shine to my embroidery from now on.

These are bright colors. Don't have a long thread going on your needle because after you pull them through a couple of times, the material closer to the needle will start to separate and shred some. Just the same, I will be buying more of these because the colors are so good.

Beautiful colors to be sure. But the tread unravels easily, frays and tangles easily too. You need to make sure to adjust the length of thread you would normally work with to something much shorter.

Good quality glossy threads. But price is high.
