I have a godox light and I bought a really big umbrella that barely fits my room. So I needed something small and practical. I ordered this and it’s the perfect size I do my content with this and my light and easy folds back away. Although I would say i couldn’t fold it back to fit in the bag BUT it folds flat so it fits anywhere ☺️

I'm a professional in film and TV and looked far and wide for a good medium-sized softbox that was tough, and that sets up and takes down quickly (time is valuable). This popup softbox fits the bill exactly. It takes a half-second to open, as opposed to a regular bowen rectangular softbox (four rods) or an octobox (8 rods). It may be bigger than I need for a one-person interview, but people are always surprising you by bringing another person into the interview, in which case, I'm glad for the extra size. The softbox comes in a very sturdy and compact carrying case, about the size of a woman's handbag. It's also very light. Don't think about it, just buy it.

Not the very best skybox but gets the job done , & very easy for on location shoots and lets not forget price Is right ! Would not hesitate to order another one If need be..

Ease of setup.

Easy and quick to set up. Folds away nicely and is small for carrying around.

I bought this because I'm on a budget and I was worried if wouldn't match up to bigger softboxes but I was pleasantly surprised at the results in my work. Its a little difficult setting up the mount by yourself at first bout once that's out of the way it's perfect.

this softbox is good in the lighting department, but it has a terrible re-fold and storage system. i have gotten to the point i just travel with it unfolded and be done with it.as a photographer, this is good for 3/4 portrits (knee to head of subject) , for a full body shot it drops off drastically below the knee (due to the size so its not a manufacturer fault) . so keep in mind that to get the full body coverage you most likely have to move it even further from the subject.
