This couplings easily slide on 1” copper pipe and easy to use on tight spot but when you sweat it, put a lot of solder to prevent it from leaking and possibly center the coupling properly to get an even solder at both ends of copper pipe your are sweating.

Not a lot to say, these are slip joint couplers for half inch copper pipe. Which means that there is no stop in the center of the coupler. It allows you to slide the coupler over the pipe all the way to the end, put your peace in place and then slide it back over I marked a half inch on the copper pipe with a sharpie and only slid the coupler back up to the half inch mark. I read a few reviews that complained because there’s no stop in the middle of the coupler. it’s not supposed to have a stop on this particular coupler. I was working with different kinds of half-inch copper pipe and it fit on all of them.

I was looking for copper to put in my bird baths to keep the yuck from growing in the water. These copper splices have worked to accomplish this. Now, if I could just teach the birds to poop outside the bird bath!!!

Bought these for my chickens water buckets to keep the algae out of their water. After about a month, they all turned black not sure if that’s normal or if it’s not real copper.

These couplings solved a water pipe repair issue where I was unable to bend the pipe to get on couplings. I simply cut a piece of pipe to fit exact, placed these couplings all the way onto the pipe and then slid them over the joints.when put in place. Worked better than expected. Perfect for 3/4" copper pipe.

Couldn't find these couplers (without a stop) in stock at any of the box, hardware or plumbing supply stores in Guelph. Used to be a very common item, but now with PEX installations being so common, I guess copper tubing use is fading.... So glad to find it on Amazon. Shipped from Calgary, but arrived in 2 days, free shipping with Prime. Should have given up searching locally earlier. And the price was less than I could have found locally even if they were in stock.

I fixed my plumbing without any problems. Quality is normal, size was as described.

How come this simple and time/money saving item can't be found in our canadian stores anymore (Home depot, Canadian tire, Rona-Lowes, BMR) ? It did the job perfectly. I am very satisfied.
