I usually store it in the fridge.

Q: Can I store unused portions in a leakproof glass jar in the refrigerator? How long will it keep?

I used the whole portion in vanilla ice cream so I'm not sure how long it will keep in refrigerator.

Q: is this ok to put in my luggage on the plane?

Yes you can. But I will put it in ziplock just in case.
