The title may seem misleading but trust me as this is my second one, the first one melted from the high heat from our gas range (flame/heat that come around the pan). We used the first one for years on electric stove tops, this never melted during that time frame. My only other complaint is that as the pan heats up the silicone handle softens and can become loose. The fit on our Logde cast iron is good but wish it was a tighter fit. Not only the heat but grease on the handle also makes it easy to come off, without this grease/oil though it would rust, hmm now that I think of it a rusty handle might add to the friction, but I know the wife wouldn't want that. Even though I didn't give it a top rating this is still a great option.

Very good product. I use it for my LODGE combo cooker (2 pans) and it works great. The adjustment it is good. When cooking the top and bottom keeps only a bit warm (you can hold it with bare hands), from the sides might be a bit warmer. Great!
