The duct tape of adhesives
'Powergrab', to me, is one of those things you keep a dedicated caulk-gun for. It is like a 'ok, send it' glue. I've used it for plastic to wood, foam to drywall, rubber to brick. I don't even know if they even recommend those combinations, but it works. Even my wood-glue had dried out and I was in a pinch. Use this stuff. I find less of a motivation to uncap, de-crust, and fling and squeeze a cold bottle of multi-purpose Gorilla to get it dispensable for half of my random jobs. Or buy, yet again, ANOTHER bottle Titebond because I threw away the rock-hard dry one. 3M Super 77 works well, but then sometimes it doesn't, because of chemistry or porosity or something. Just get the Powergrab, pull off the electrical tape cap*, and just go. I'm serious about the dedicated caulk gun. For real, I use this stuff in ways that in no way the manufacturer recommends. It sticks. I'm not liable for what you do with it, but I consider that Powergrab is to me what I also consider duct tape is for you. If it moves, and it shouldn't, duct tape (or Powergrab). If it doesn't move, but it should, WD40. *Caulk-condoms are trash. Use electrical tape (3M Super33 if you're fancy). Airtight. Thank me later. THERE IS A FREE AND GENUINELY-HONEST REVIEW FOR YOU, POWERGRAB. MAYBE SEND ME A FREE TUBE SINCE I USE SO MUCH OF YOUR BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL LIQUID DUCT TAPE. I had to look it up, Loctite makes it. I have Loctite blue and red. No way. A bottle of Loctite red lasts a lifetime, tube of Powergrab lasts a weekend. Conspiracy. Ace hardware capitalizes on home-improvement emergencies with their prices, Amazon's price is for the patient, or back-stockers such as yours-truly.

Great hold for ceiling tile
Unfortunately, 1 of these buckets was difficult to work with bc the product was old, gummy, thick and tough to spread which I was unaware of until getting a second bucket w/a much smoother consistency, the way it should have been. I am using this to install pvc faux tin 2'x2' ceiling tiles which is doing the trick. This is much cheaper alternative than caulking tubes as well as easier on my hands and less time consuming to use a spatula to dollop onto the panels. The ceiling is popcorn so needed something thick and with enough tack to hold which this has done great. If using for this purpose, make sure to be generous if your ceiling has a texture, more is better in this situation.

Bad caulk
Be cautious about buying this caulk. I will be returning the remaining tubes. I initially purchased several. I will be returning the remaining 6 due to unworkable....most likely old. I could barely get it out of the tube . Shame on you for selling this caulk on Amazon. It delayed my job I was working on. Saving a dollar or so was a mistake. Im sure the blame will be deflected toward the manufacturer.......Not the case....This caulk was like sqeezing out play dough. It should come out creamy and workable.

I love this
this stuff and my caulk gun are my new best friends for home repairs. To follow up to the answer to a question if was fielded. Yes it can be sanded- I just tried it, used a 240 grit sandpaper I imagine it could be then sanded with a finer grit after the coarse grit. and to me, if it can be sanded, it can be painted also. For reference, I put it on the cut end of a 2 x 4 stud, sanded it with a 240 grit. I mainly used it in my bathroom to bond Go Board to furring strips around my tub so I could tile. I had pipes that burst, had to gut most of my bathroom trying to save what I could to minimize cost. I had to replace a fiberglass tub. the americast tub I got is * inches shorter than my old tub so I am trying to fix, repair and tile that area. luckily I has some subway tile and enough decorative tile left over from when the bath was originally done I had to get Lowes flooring guys to remove the marble floor, a handyman to cut through the old rotted subfloor, allowing plumbers to get to the pipes, then relay subfloor and then have Lowes replace the floor with vinyl flooring. i got rid of the old fiberglass tub and replaced it with an American standard americast tub which was shorter in height and depth.. I am fixing the tile work around the tub myself because the contractor wanted $1,700.00 to rip down the shower wall (where a lot of damage was and was not willing to use up the old tile I had left over from the original bath remodel (20 years ago) wanted new tile so he can charge more money. I guess he wasn't "green" thinking. white subway tile 20 yrs ago is the same as white subway tile now a days. I guess because I am a 68 yr old woman, he thought I was stupid. What he didn't know was this 68 yr old woman did that tile work 20 yrs ago!!. I also have my own tools and power tools. So I hope the infor on the Loctite helps.
