Q: Can I use these in my table top propane fire pit? It came with the lava rock and they said not to cover the holes where the fire comes out of? Help.

Yes. I did it with mine. It looks amazing at night.

Q: Can you use with wood burning pit?

I think it would be in the ashes and hard to recover.

Yes, it looks much nicer with the glass rocks. I have those same glass rocks in mine. I like the color it adds.
