These lights are beautiful. They have a soft bright light and when you put them close together they look amazing. Really happy with them and I purchased another set as our tree is quite big and I wanted them to be quite close together to make a statement, They come on a roll which I then packed back onto for easy storage and for next year so its easy to get them back out.

I bought these for my Christmas tree this year as I thought that I needed a lot more to give a better effect - I buy real trees that are usually about 7 feet tall, and very bushy. I thought that my old lights had 360 lights on them, so guessed that 500 would be prefect. Well, as with the size of my trees, I made a slight mishap; my old set of lights actually only had 180 lights. This meant that 500 lights were probably more than I really needed, to be fair. However, having said that, I was able to double up on each layer making the tree look as though it is lit up from the inside as well as from the outside. The colour is lovely too; not a cold white light, but a softer, warmer tone. My tree looks lovely now - a good thing, as it took me an hour, with help, to get these lights around it.Overall, I am very pleased. They haven't come in a branded box, which is perhaps why they are so much cheaper than the ones I have seen in shops, but they were well packaged so were not damaged getting to me. As for the price, I am also really pleased. For the equivalent number of lights in the shops, you would be looking at £45 upwards. For anyone who is looking to decorate a larger tree, these would be perfect.

I bought a 200-lamp set of these string lights made by YOSION in 2018 and a 600-lamp set by the same manufacturer in 2019, both on Amazon.de (Germany). When I first opened the box and saw the set that I ordered initially, my first impression was that it looked a far better product than any other I had seen before. After using the first set 4 times and the second set once to decorate my Christmas trees during the last five years (in each instance for at least 10 hours a day for some three weeks), I can confirm that they functioned without a glitch. All the LED string lights that I had bought and used for 7-8 years prior to my first purchase lasted for a season or two, before completely or partially failing. A relatively long-lasting seasonal use of YOSION string lights has confirmed that at relatively high prices they are quality products. So much so that I ordered my third set (a 400-lamp set) by the same manufacturer, this time on Amazon.co.uk (United Kingdom) as they were not available on Amazon.de (Germany). So, based on my experience I can proclaim these sets as exceptionally good quality products. I only hope that YOSION will continue manufacturing them for the benefit of consumers who look for quality and durable products.

A well made product. Has an inbuilt timer which switches off the lights after a few hours. Not sure how many hours as I didn't time them. You don't seem to be able to override this timer function, so if you want the lights to stay on permanently, this product is not for you. There are several programmed light patterns, but I only found one that wasn't too manic for my taste. You can set them to be permanently on (subject to the timer turning them off). The lights have good brightness and the colours were also good. Would have had 5 stars if the lights had some more placid programmed modes.
