They showed up with scratches and paint imperfections. They were just thrown in a plastic bag and were rattling around and hitting each other during shipping which helped with the scratches.

These are really good quality, they have been out in the weather for several months now and still no sign of corrosion. Of course, they work well too and that's important, but rust was my biggest concern and so far, great.

I got these for a wagon project where I wanted the walls to come down. The latch itself was welded to the frame and the other piece over the base of the wall. They're adjustable at length but also adds levels of tightness / stability. The tighter you adjust, the harder it is close and open. Well worth it for any project where a tough latch is needed.
