Forest Adventure: Fantastic Forest (Amazing Animals)

This whole series is awesome. It is surprisingly hard to find series at the toddler level that teach about the different ecosystems, and this one does a good job of a general overview. They start with a very brief explanation of where they are exploring, then each page has a short rhyme about a different animal in that ecosystem. A plus at the end is the page of other animals appearing in the book, which you can go back through and find after you finish reading it. The only downside I can add is that I felt the books focused a little much on the scary side of animals (e.g. "don't let the python squeeze you" or "the jaguar is hunting for animals" and the explorers look scared, etc). Still an excellent buy for the price and educational while being fun.

My son loves the books by Tony Mitton and Ant Parker. Forest Adventure is no exception. The books always rhyme well and teach interesting information about each topic. The illustrations are also fun.

I like that this book rhymes, but is still informative. It’s a cute little book about animals in the forest.
