Works well. I was concerned with it slipping but the clamps held without a problem.

easier to use the the ones that clamp only with up ward tensions , makes it easy to apply clamp when I'm by myself without any help, really like them

Great chains bought them for work and use them all the time have not had any problems with them lifting drums of oil

This is great for moving barrels around, as well as loading them. Only complaint I have is the chains could be slightly shorter. We have to raise the mast on our forklift pretty high to pickup a barrel, and it nearly doesn't clear our door.

I don't have water on my property (yet) and currently, I bring it in using a pair of plastic 55-gallon drums. I offload the drums from my truck using this and the pallet fork attachment on my tractor. The lifting bar fits one of the fork tines, unlike cheaper versions where I'd need a cable or strap to make it work. I had my doubts but it seems to grip a full barrel of water, combined weight 484 lbs., without any issues. I got mine on sale for $80 instead of the normal $100 and I'm quite pleased with it.
