Case Sod Buster Pocket Knives, Yellow, Small

My only complaint is that the blade isn’t centered, but other than that it’s a great, sharp knife right out of the box.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I really should be giving this knife 3 stars,but even with it's issues, once I sharpened it I do really like it for the price. 1st, the blade wasn't centered, but honestly with all the reviews I have read about case quality these days I wasn't expecting it to be. It's not rubbing and it's a inexpensive beater knife for me. 2nd. It had the dullest most jagged blade I have ever received on a new knife, and I own more than a few knives. I find this inexcusable in this day and age. Come on case, it's a knife the one thing it is made to do is cut stuff. At least put a decent edge on it. I have several knives from China that are inexpensive and are shaving sharp out of the box every time. I didn't want to believe all the negative stuff I have read about case in the last few years, but I do believe their quality control is lacking something fierce. I have another case coming. If that one has the same type issues I will be done with them. I really hope it has no issues. I would rather buy American made, but if their quality is a 50/50 crap shoot forget it. Keeping my fingers crossed on this next one.

My husband loved this knife. It was shipped in arrived on time and not much else you can say about it other than it’s a really good looking knife.

Knife on the left was the first one I got, Blade is warped bad, ordered a replacement hoping to get one with a straight Blade the one on the right, Blade did come straight its even a thicker blade compared to the first one, off camera. But the scales and symmetry of the replacement is horrible and ugly compared to the first one, scales came ruff like they didn’t bother to deburr it. Disappointed with the quality control of Case, for “made in America” they don’t care to hold up to the standard. Might keep the replacement one see if I can smooth the scales out. Don’t really want to send it to Case for a replacement.
