Sony SRS-XP700, Powerful Bluetooth party speaker with omnidirectional party sound, lighting and 25hrs battery, Black

Compared to other speakers (the Sony XP800 and 900, and the JBL Boombox), for its relatively low price point, this speaker is awesome and will do the job with no disappointment. The bass delivery punches you in the stomach; it's more than loud and the light show is good in a darkened environment. Battery life is around25 hours (at low/moderate volume), but at full volume it's around fiver hours, but the speaker can be powered direct from the mains. It has on board controls, but can also be operated via the Sony app. My only gripe is it's weight. It really is HEAVY. 38lbs, and even the box is labelled up, "two man lift....". So, if you're looking at a getting a thumping speaker that will comfortably rock any room, this will make you smile, and say, "Wow !!!" If you need to rock a large outside area then you'll need to spend twice the price on something larger and with more power. Love it though !

Lovely stand alone speaker, great deep base even before engaging the extra base button. Looks good and has a reasonable app. Can connect up to a 100 other speakers, though I think one other would be enough for my needs. Great item though a tad expensive compared to similar speakers.

Great speaker with excellent quality sound that you come to expect from Sony . It’s built well and looks good . The sound is loud in doors and very loud outdoors but only if it’s plugged into the mains . On battery it’s a lot quieter so if your buying for portability this is not for you . We have outdoor electricity so not a problem but take it somewhere remote it’s not that loud .

As you'd expect from Sony, the speaker is a quality unit. As others have mentioned, maximum volume is only achievable if it is plugged in. The volume is still respectable when operating in battery mode though. Even at full volume and with the bass boost activated there is no sound distortion. Clearly the unit can go even louder, but Sony have capped it before it starts to distort (and therefore prevent unintended damage). If you do want your ears to bleed, order two of them, or go for the 700. It is a touch on the expensive side, but that's probably because its been built to last, whereas cheaper alternatives probably haven't. Time will tell I guess. Overall, very satisfied.

Iv had a few different brand large bluetooth speakers costing more than this sony but have to say very impressed the sound quality the bass is amazing. The only down sides is it is heavy and the flashing lights effects are not as good as others iv had but I brought it as a speaker and so far the best bluetooth speaker with a built-in battery iv had . Would highly recommend great sound for a good price .

Amazing sound, easy to pair to blue tooth but range seems a little too short. Scored low ‘value for money’ but very sturdily built and heavy, lights only ok in the dark not spectacular. Had to get use to controlling the volume from the app, my son found a way to use volume controls on his phone. Bought to be used in the garden, could not ask for better. Has a few bells and whistles like DJ sounds and light changing. I took a gamble on the price hoping for something to do a job, not disappointed. Managed to pair with Bluetooth on tv, makes a good alternative to a sound bar, bonus.

Wir haben diese Box jetzt schon einige Zeit in Benutzung und sind mehr als zufrieden. Vom Klang, von der Lautstärke von der Akkulaufzeit, einfach super. Wer eine zuverlässige Partybox sucht mit gutem Klang, der kann hier beruhigt zugreifen.

Het gemak waarmee je via bluetooth (mobiel, laptop etc) meteen muziek heb in je huiskamer is voor ons, a-technische mensen het grootste pluspunt. Het apparaat oogt mooi, lekker compact, geen overdreven led-disco verlichting en prachtig geluid. Als iets me niet bevalt aan een aankoop dan schijf ik dat ook eerlijk op in de beoordeling maar hier valt niets op te merken. Ik lees dat er meerdere luidsprekers aan elkaar te koppelen zijn om muziek synchroom af te spelen dus ik overweeg om nog eentje in de toekomst te kopen.

Hola, el altavoz es una pasada calidad precio lo mejor que he comprado. Sony siempre para mi es lo mejor puedes conectar una guitarra, micrófono, cargar el teléfono, batería dura 20 horas e iluminación led discreta pero genial.

En primer lugar voy a citar la increíble calidad del sonido de estos altavoces y en general de la marca Sony. Para continuar diré que tengo 2 modelos xp700 y 2 modelos xp500, sincronizados a la vez, a través de party conect. El sonido con perdón de la palabra es a co jo nan te, de hecho los tengo en mi negocio, no me dedico al ocio nocturno, pero con estos altavoces podría perfectamente. Si quieres un altavoz potente, muy potente y que la calidad no se pierda a la vez que subes el volumen, es éste! No lo dudes CÓMPRALO. Eso sí, si lo coges con oferta mejor que mejor. Si quieres conectar varios dispositivos como yo, únicamente has de encender el primer altavoz, dal al botón de party conect y encender el segundo altavoz y hacer la misma operación, dar al botón party conect, y así todos los que tengas. Desde la aplicación music center de Sony es muy fácil manejar dichos altavoces. Espero poder haceros un vídeo del sonido atronador que tienen estos altavoces. No los he mojado ni salpicado ya que están en una nave, pero sí que he probado la batería, y también es brutal , con sonido a tope y luces me dan los xp700 unas 7 horas y los xp500 unas 5 horas y media, si quito luces los primeros suben a 11 horas y los segundo a 9/10 horas Pero si el sonido lo bajo al 50 y dejó luces, nos vamos con los primeros a las 22h y los segundos unas 20. Sinceramente y no me paga Sony, si buscas altavoces potentes y con calidad los recomiendo fervientemente.
