GAC 900 by GOLDEN, 8 oz Jar, Professional Fluid Mediums, Heat-Set Fabric Painting Acrylic Medium, For Wearable Fabrics

My kods used this for "senior jeans" with their acylic paint. It worked just fine. They mixed in some product with the paint and used like that. It worked out perfect fine and they havent had an issue with cracking or anything. Its a milky thin white color but it doesn't affect the paint color.

I am painting on some fabric and needed this to help acrylic paint not dry so stiff. The price is nice and the Golden name is all I will purchase because it’s so easy to use and forgiving on this amateur!

I used GAC 900 for a painted a design on a t-shirt. I mixed it with heavy bodied Golden acrylics and steamed it per the instructions. I applied a few layers of paint. It’s been over 5 years and the design is still in perfect condition. I have put that t-shirt in the wash on high heat dozens of times and it’s still flexible and not chipped at all. In the beginning it did have a tendency to stick to itself but it came apart easily no damage.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Looks great and hopefully works well. Bought this for my acrylic paints so that I could start painting on my clothes. I have yet to try it but I'm sure it will work wonders.

Love painting denim and this was an excellent find. I mix with Liquitex acrylic paints for flexibility and vibrancy. Doesn't take any longer to dry than using acrylics alone. I usually use a hairdryer to set it with heat during the painting process and run over the design with an iron on low heat once finished. A little goes a long way so I anticipate this size to last me through quite a few projects

This product works amazing! I paint custom denim jackets & products and this is a must have especially when working with fabric paint or acrylics. I no longer have to worry about washing the items after I’m done and worrying about it getting ruined in the wash or fading etc. Though you do need to follow the instructions. And find what ratio works for you!
