These rectangle foam cleaning swabs are well made and sturdy enough to even rinse and re-use! I use these foam swabs primarily for gun cleaning and oiling tight areas and for cleaning electronics - jobs that require a well made foam swab that would not break or leave cotton fibers behind. It's also works great for cleaning my computer keyboard and even my tv remote. In the garage, I use these 0.5" x 0.9" rectangular foam swabs for detailing the car engine and the dashboard ... works well cleaning the air conditioning vents. PROS: The polystyrene/plastic handle is stiff and durable, so no worries about it bending or breaking even if some force is applied when swabbing. The rectangular foam head is securely bonded to the polystyrene/plastic handle. So, no loose swab heads! The swab heads are made from 'open-cell' foam so unlike cotton swabs, no fibers are left when cleaning ... especially important when cleaning electronics. The swab's 'open-cell' foam absorbs lot of liquid which is especially useful when cleaning and oiling. CONS: They are pricey compared to large cotton swabs/applicatiors. These swabs are packaged in sealed plastic bags. It would be nice if they were resealable bags. Hey I'm harping ... these are great foam cleaning swabs that get the job done. This is gonna sound gross but I was tired of skid marks in the toilet and using the Clorox disposable toilet cleaners almost daily. It’s a new toilet so I am not sure if it was sealed well or what. These are way cheaper ans are stiff enough to quickly remove the marks then toss in the trash.

I carve wood signs and was looking for small foam brush to paint small and thin letters. These foam swabs worked great. They are sturdy and small enough to get into those small spaces. Much easier to use than a bristle brush. These are good quality brushes and price is low . Highly recommend.

Bought these to have in hand for cleaning and oiling my sewing machine. Gets into the bobbin case area well and picks up the lint. I can just pull the lint off and keep using. I can also put a couple drops of oil on it and clean the take up bar and the needle bar while oiling it as well. I will buy more as needed.

These pads are fantastic for cleaning maintenance of your sewing machine. I recently had to sew with a thick velour fabric which resulted in lint everywhere in the base of my Janome sewing machine. One wipe stick was enough to fully clean my machine and got into tricky areas that a q-tip would have struggled with.

I have been using these for putting on sealer on small craft objects. They work pretty good. I think they will work great for cleaning my inkjet printer, better than cotton swabs.

My go to for cleaning my ecosolvent printer. Absorbs the cleaner and ink easily. I do recommend storing it in a Ziplock bag since they yellow overtime. Similar to the OEM ones I used to buy couple years back before i switched to these.
