I have to say, this is an outstanding devotional book that isn’t just something you read, but teaches young girls about the value of daily quiet time. This isn’t something you read and walk away from, but the author encourages you to grab a journal, get out your Bible, answer questions, and really work through the days reading. When my daughter gets all her stuff out and settles in, her quiet time looks amazingly like mine, but it’s not because she is imitating me, but because she’s doing it on her own. It brings tears to my eyes watching her spend time with Jesus, on her time, when she wants to, all on her own. This is an amazing devotional book for younger pre-teens. I love that it drives them to God’s Word, and that it does it in such an age appropriate way. Some older, more mature pre-teens, might find the tone a bit childish, but it was perfect for my 9-year-old girl, and I will definitely be ordering Wynter’s other devotional book when my daughter finishes this one.

Ordered this as part of a gift for my niece's First Communion, and I loved it so much I'm ordering another one for my own daughters (9 & 10). It has wonderful, real-life, age-appropriate messaging that is very relatable for them. Highly, highly recommend!

What a great book for young girls! I bought this for my niece’s 9th birthday, and I like it so much, I bought another to read with my 5 year old! I really think it’s appropriate for a wide age range, but probably only to about age 12. Many of the topics focus on developing a Biblical identity, ie, understanding how God sees you. This is so important for the development of girls’ self-esteem! There are also topics that cover covetousness, Christ-like communication, and how to practically apply our faith. So great! And the lessons are brief and easily digestible. It will also be a good tool for sparking deeper conversation with our growing girls. Btw, the author is the cousin of Priscilla Shirer.

These were great devotionals. Some even applied to me as an adult female while I read them to my daughter.

My daughter 10 loved this book so much! She just finished it & asked for another. Gave her some confidence in her relationship with God & she highlighted a bunch of the recommended verses in her Bible.

It’s a good book for older girls probably from 15 upwards who are understanding life.
