I’ve been using Tempdrop for a while now, and there are definitely things I love about it. It does a great job helping me estimate when my ovulation window is approaching and when my period is likely to start. For general cycle awareness, it’s super helpful and convenient. However, there are a couple of downsides worth mentioning. Tempdrop usually doesn’t confirm ovulation until 2–3 days after it actually happens, and my temperature readings aren’t always consistenly the same ovulation temp as the previous month. Because of that delay, I wouldn’t recommend relying on Tempdrop alone if you’re trying to avoid pregnancy. The confirmation comes too late to use it as your only form of fertility awareness birth control. Overall, it’s a great tool for understanding your cycle patterns, but not the best choice if you need real-time ovulation confirmation.

I purchased this to help find when I am ovulating easier, and make it a lot easier to take my morning temperature on the days I either forget or I move around to much before taking my temperature and then I do not get a true reading. So far it works very well; however, the temperature is always lower than my Smart Basal Thermometer. I am not sure if where it sits on your under arm will always be cooler than under your tongue or if there is something wrong; but it has always been lower than my Smart Basal Thermometer for the past two to three months now. The arm band is comfortable however you do have to get use to it at first. But ones you are use to it then it is comfortable. The syncing is easy and really it does not take that long to sync. The app is easy to use as well; however, I wish there were more things to keep track of in the app. Furthermore, I wish it also synced with Apple Health too, and the graphs it puts out, I wish they were a little better than they are now. But all-and-all; it is still pretty good and I would purchase it again if I did not have one.

Tempdrop was great for tracking temperature and cycle; however the sensor must be extremely delicate. It only survived about two years and died after a simple careful battery change. I only wear it half the month, so don't expect longevity for this product if you wear it daily. Warranty is just a year but they offer extended warranty for another year if you purchase it. They did offer me discount but I am still disappointed it's not better made.

Life changing for fertility tracking! So much easier than taking temps every morning. I do wish it wasn’t drop shaped, since it kind of stabs into my arm at some angles when I’m wearing it. Took a few weeks to get used to, now I’m not as bothered by it. It’s kind of annoying that it doesn’t sync automatically. I don’t keep my phone in my bedroom, so I have to make sure to remember to sync it every day or two. Overall worth it!

Just arrived today. Got Tempdrop for my wife to monitor her temperature for doing FAM. On first glance I have the following thoughts: 1. Packaging is fancy—makes me wonder how much I’m paying for packaging of the total price. 2. Armband is confusing. It uses a sort of hook that goes through poorly designed lace flaps to adjust the size. The instructions don’t help with understanding how to put it on either. It would be nice if it were Velcro or some sort of clip system like a belt. It is also too long for my arm and I have to wrap it around twice, which leaves the excess band sliding around on my arm. 3. The device itself doesn’t clip into the plastic part that is attached to the armband very well. Even when clipped in, it feels loose. The grooves on the side of the device don’t fit well enough into the holder for me to even say it is clipped in. 4. The instructions show where to put the device, but the pictures in the instructions aren’t detailed enough to tell where exactly on your arm they recommend that you put it. Stay tuned for an update on this review after she uses it!
