Solid performing firewall.
Good firewall if you need performance and configurability. Definite performance improvement over USG 40.

solid firewall and router if happy to pay a subscription for it
I purchased the Zyxel USG Flex 200 (USG60 v2) and over-all is a good firewall and router but the down side is after the 30 day promo if you want the firewall feature you have to buy a license to activate it. not a big deal other the the fact that at the time I purchased this it was 400 USD the subscription to use the FW is 379. so basically buying the FW/router all over again. so if you are good with this go for it it feature rich and solid equipment. but if not move on get something else.

Very capable router, more than we needed but worth the money for growth options.
Easy to install and configure, but with full ability to customize as required. Very capable router.

Great build quality
This is a very well made device. The materials and design give it a premium look and feel. It also offers great options for added security. Please note though that Zyxcel offers a subscription for their built in software which may be necessary depending on what you want to do with it. If you're pretty tech savy it's a easy to set up. Great for a small team of users amd relatively inexpensive.

Powerful and Fast
The Zyxel ZyWALL USG Flex 50 - VPN Network Security Firewall Router | Home & Small Business Recommended up to 25 Users | Nebula Cloud Option | TAA Compliant [USGFLEX50] is very well made with excellent quality materials. All joints and seams are snug with no gaps or flaws. The case is strong and all of the connection joints are correctly sized. There is a bit of a set up routine to get started, but the step-by-step instructions are accurate and easy to understand. Once up and running the machine is fast and does not experience cut-outs or latency.

You will be buying software in two weeks
I purchased this firewall two weeks ago and I am having to buy software for it already as it has a two week free trial software loaded on it. They don’t seem to think their firewall needs to have a year long license when it ships. Who has time to putz around spending more time and money to keep my business online. RUN!!!
