These are low flow, large area coverage heads that replace high volume, low efficiency spray heads and give you back some needed pressure in the system. The landscaper/builder that installed my 3 circuit sprinkler system (in SWFL on Floratam) was, shall we say, not very smart. They mixed rotors and high volume spray heads on the same circuit that resulted in many dry spots, and many swamps, during the dry season. The most obvious answer was to install a 4th circuit (thousands of $). I replaced all the spray heads with a mix of hunter 800, 1000, 2000 and 3000 - 90's and one 360. This almost eliminated all dry spots without installing additional circuits and sprinklers. As far as durability and sturdiness, only time will tell. but probably no more susceptible to clogging than a normal spray head.

I have an area with low water pressure, and other sprinkler heads didn’t work well at all. These are the ones that do the job! They work great and provide consistent coverage, even with the low pressure. I’m really happy with how well they perform.
