It's not possible to upload pictures to this site else I would have included them. I'm feeling lucky with this purchase. My sketch pad arrived new and 98% intact, but I'm presuming it was only because it travelled a very short distance. I received this item placed loosely inside an amazon plastic bag that included 4 tin pencil cases and noticed that the sketch pad was starting to get scuffed on its bottom edges - the corners of the first 3 pages are curling a bit from the rough contact with the tin cases; the top of the right back corner is torn a bit; on the top the pages detached from the cover the minute I opened the pad. Either the noticeable damage was caused by the careless packing or I was sold an imperfect sketch pad while the company is clearing its inventory (since I got on sale). IMHO the sketchpad should have been wrapped in craft paper for protection prior to its insertion in the shipping bag. Yet despite the minor damages overall the sketch pad is in good shape with its 25 pages all clean, sturdy and still bonded/glued together. I'll keep it and use it.

Perfect paper for pencil crayons

UPDATE Already working on a project as a Xmas gift. I really like this paper for color pencils. I'm looking for to using this type of paper. It was recommended by a professional color pencil artist. She advised I'll get the best outcome. a professional color pencils' artist highly recommended using bristol paper for your artwork. She wasn't wrong. I'm working on a Xmas gift and it's turning out spectacular which is why I've purchased more. as the professional said, paper can make the difference in your artwork even if you don't have high end colored pencils. The photos of my artwork were done with Prism colored pencils which are more wax and than oil content. My artwork here is also about 4-5 layering and the bristol paper stands the test of time. Never wilted, shredded from over use etc.
