Great case, low price
This is a great case at a great price. I had little stick-on heatsinks and no case before, and this lowered my temps by a fair bit compared to that. Fit my Pi very well and feels very sturdy. I did fell like the instructions weren't super clear and it took a little bit of figuring out on exactly which pads they wanted in which spots, but I got it figured out and it was pretty easy to install besides that.

High Quality, Effective, and Cost Effective RPi Case
I decided to start using my old RPi 3B to run LibreNMS to monitor my NAS. Since the Pi is just sitting on my desk, I also wanted something that looked a little more premium than the old plastic case it was in. The Geekworm case adds a nice amount of heft and has a very nice finish for $12. Assembly is very easy. Just apply the thermal pads to the Pi, slide it into place, and tighten the four screws. I had it together in under five minutes. The cooling performance is also very good. As I said, the Pi is running LibreNMS, so I was able to graph the temperatures before and after, and as you can see it shaved off about 10C for me compared to a small heatsink stuck directly on the CPU with no fan. Granted, the temperatures I had before were fine and this is just overkill at this point, but if you use the Pi for something more CPU intensive like game emulation, you could see a benefit from it.

Cool temperatures from a passive cooler.
Excellent construction with heavy duty design. This is a hefty little chunk of metal. CPU temps hover below 40 degrees. I bought two of these units and they're both working out great. Note there are different thermal pads depending on if you're using this with a raspberry pi 3 B or 3 B+. Extra thermal pads are included so you can reapply. Assembly is easy. Make sure everything is cleaned with alcohol before putting it all together.

Solid Enclosure
Fits a RP 3 B+ absolutely perfectly. Rock solid design and build quality and it feels premium.

Great Case!
Literally a great case! Heavy duty, and definitely uses a good alloy compound as heat dissipates quickly. Solid and snug fit against the pi, and ive been able to dramatically overclock the device since using this shell. Id give it 5/5 but the thermal pads are a little mediocre compared to the rest of the product. But still great that it comes with them, as they are necessary for heat transfer.

Passive cooling works great.
Passive cooling is excelling for my always on devices. These are solid, cool well, and look great. It's a little tricky selecting the correct cooling "pad" to bridge the case to the ICs on the Pi, but not too bad.

I only regret not buying this sooner
I cant stress enough how much of a roll this case has played in making my old Raspberry Pi3 usable in 2025. For the past couple of months, i've resurrected my old Raspberry pi3 with the latest version of Raspberry-Pi-OS acting as an SMB server(as well as other things) for my AppleTV. This case plays a MASSIVE roll in keeping temps down and keeping the operating system more than satisfied, Ive gone from an old (non-heatsink) case idling at around 55-60c to an idle of a cool 34-35c with this geekworm case. It's also worth noting that this case includes measures to protect the built-in 10/100 ethernet nic as well as the RAM. I havent seen any dmesg notifications related to thermals since installing the case over a month ago. SMB file transfers over my local network (as well as qbittorrent downloads over the internet) are finally able to fully saturate the on-board NIC at 12.5MegaBytes per second (100 megabits per second). My end goal was to create a "max effort" Raspberry Pi3 capable of 1080p video + 5.1 Audio file sharing and im happy to say this case was the missing link to remove the last of the computer's bottlenecks. If youre thinking about upgrading your old Raspberry Pi, this case is a must have!

My Raspberry Pi 3B used to run at 64'C and with this heatsink it runs at 34'C. Highly recommended case for everyone.

Una de las mejores opciones para mantener estable la Raspberry en cuestión de temperatura

Incredibly thick and solid, feels great. Good heat dissipation, ports align well, fit is good. I used aluminum cases before on rpi4 but those had the bottom part still made of plastic. This one has both pieces made of aluminum and it feels great. Wifi seems to work though admittedly I'm not relying on it.

Incluye todo lo necesario para instalarlo, y varios pads de reemplazo. Evita que la Pi 3B+ se sobrecaliente. Acutalmente lo utilizo con Mainsail 32Bits y mantiene la Pi 3B+ entre 45C y 50C.
