I love this so much! The smell went away in a few days. It’s used daily and looks great. Excellent thickness and no issues with slipping but we do have a heavy table on it. It looks black in photos but it’s navy.

This rug is gorgeous and fits our hallway perfectly. I was worried that it would be rough, however it is soft and smooth.

We loved this carpet for about 1 year before we noticed the frays and fluff that was left behind. The style is SUPER cute and it fit perfectly with our costal themed house. However, my dog would run across this carpet and overtime the braids came undone. My biggest problem with this rug is that it shed! I have fluff balls all over my house from the carpet. We ended up throwing it away after a year because of the headache it was causing us!

It lies flat, is easy to vacuum, and doesn't shed at all (maybe because it's in a low traffic area.) So far it has held up against my cat's scratches.

When this was unpacked it was fraying in 3 places. Because it’s cotton you can’t burn the ends. Cutting it does not help. Had to use duct tape to secure it not fraying further. There were 2 large stickers on the bottom of one side. When trying to remove them they pulled the fibers out. Tried using a steamer to help with the adhesive but that only gummed it up. So now I can’t flip it over ever. Super upset about this!

I loved the look of this jute rug when I saw it in a rental home our family stayed in. After using Amazon’s photo finder to see if I could purchase my own, I later ordered this rug (in 6 x 6 ft) and love it. Since it is made from natural plant fibers, it does have a little bit of an odor at first, but this dissipated quickly and nothing like the noxious, synthetic fragrances some rugs come with. This rug has added warmth and a more rustic, relaxed feel to our living room- I highly recommend for a look of elegance-meets-nature in a living space.

The first time I purchased this rug it came and when I unwrapped it the only thing I noticed was a slight grassy scent similar to dried hay. I put it on top of a rug pad and was very happy. The dogs loved it, I got lots of compliments on it, and it worked for its purpose as an indoor entry rug. When it was starting to look a little worn I decided to reorder it, because I was so happy with the first one. The second one arrived and had dirt literally falling off of it. Had to vacuum it for about 20 minutes and sand/dirt continued to fall out of it for days. It had a very strong odor, and was damp, I suspect it was moldy. I'm so disappointed in the lack of quality control. Because I use it as an entry rug I anticipated having to replace it as it wore out, but the second one wore out much faster and was coming apart at the seams. After reading reviews it seems like this is a common occurrence for the manufacturer - That there's a lack of quality control and their rugs often arrive smelling mildewy/moldy and with dirt chunks. I'm overdue to replace this rug, and have not decided what I'm going to do. I don't like the idea of gambling whether or not I will get a good rug this time or another one of the poor quality ones.

Thinner than I expected. Came folded in a tight bundle about half the size of a sleeping bag.

Disappointed that this rug was not navy, but black instead. I appreciate there are different tints of navy but this is fully black. *Editing review to add that seller was very pleasant to deal with and refunded us.*
