Q: Does it really fit the gopro 11 black ??

Yes, it is fit the gopro 11 black.

Q: One review says you can't operate the buttons with the case on; does this mean you can't change between video & camera mode etc while underwater?

Yes - you can use all of the physical buttons however with the waterproof back door attached, you cannot use the touch screen.

Q: Sound recording - with the cover in I am guessing you are unable to pick up sound? Am I presuming correctly?

Oddly it does pick up a bit of sound. With our GoPro 10, the sound with the case is a little bit muffled as you would expect but you can make out the wards - so it is fine with me

Q: Does this fit the go pro hero black 7 as well?

Sadly not - its only for the 8 and above.

Does what it says on the box

Always had the GoPro brand housings in the past - but decided to go cheap this time. Hero 10 fits really snugly and the back door creates a good seal. No distortion of images and no fogging. It's quite difficult to open the door but considering it's meant to go under water, I'm pretty happy with that! Not taken it to any great depth yet - only 15 ish mtrs - but no leaks at that depth so far...

appears sturdy but....

took it for a ride. have not tested water tightness as only need it I case it rains heavily. The case seems sturdy and clamp works fine. The only problem is that the screw that holds the case to the mount does not do firmly and the camera subsequently starts to change angle and points to the ground. works well with original GoPro mount and does not budge......one way or another the original product seems to win lol
