Works well. Factory representatives did explain one must replace old Mercury Bulb Dial type of thermostat with digital C wire or battery powered thermostat. Otherwise, power fluctuations resulting from physical delayed shutoff of heat in Dial type Mercury Bulb physical thermostat and even digital thermostats without separate power source such as C wire will disrupt circuitry on controller board. In short, "upgrade" thermostat, if existing does not meet description stated earlier, to avoid further fault isolating by yourself or worse a technician having to isolate fault to this known issue while billing for their time.

Got this as backup to 36 yo board in our furnace after checking Q&A to be sure of compatibility with our furnace. Had some warning from the smart thermostat that made me think the old board was going bad. Glad I got this and hung the package on the wall next to the furnace. One night, our smart thermostat suddenly complained about "equipment connection" and when I checked voltages at the control board in the furnace, things did not look right. Took a picture, disconnected old board and removed. Then installed this baby and connected ten wires to same board connections. Fit perfectly and although the board connections were in slightly different locations, the labels for connections were clear and exactly the same as old board. Powered up the furnace and been working ever since. Smart thermostat is happy again, too.

Board was very simple to change out, works great, and seller had it at the house the next day. Very good service. Thank you.
