Nice product overall! I think the batch I got may have been a little old as some of the hardener had settled solid at the bottom. Had to use a screwdriver to stir it as the popsicle spatula just didn't cut it. For best performance, they recommend heating curing @ 65C/149F for 2hrs once poured... If you don't want to subject the component to heat, what I do is heat up mix for a few minutes just before pouring. It flows very nicely and minimizes bubbles.

For those who don't know what this is, this is a potting compound, In electronics, potting is a process of filling a complete electronic assembly with a solid or gelatinous compound for resistance to shock and vibration, and for exclusion of moisture and corrosive agents. Many people use this for various applications, but the most common is using it to seal OEM or aftermarket HID ballasts. This will make the ballast weatherproof and very resistant to shocks and vibrations that your car produces while driving. This kit includes enough epoxy to do 4 HID ballasts. Just follow the directions on the packaging. I needed to rush mine so I placed it in the oven at 125 degrees for 2 hours and I it was solid as a rock. I am very happy with the results. MG is the only brand I recommend, and Amazon has the best pricing for this set.

This epoxy is supposed to be mixed 50/50 by volume, however, there were unequal amounts of the two parts. One bottle was less than 3/4 full while the other less than 2/3 full. Also, one part had a solid scum just under the bottle cap that had to be cut and scraped off to get at the liquid below. I would expect more given the high cost of this small quantity of epoxy!

Mixed it per instructions. 7 days later and it's still tacky.
