MIRACULOUS!
This collar is a miracle. I have recently added an abandoned, neglected pit bull/boxer mix dog to my home. He's 70 lbs and approx. 3 1/2 years old. He was never socialized and had no idea how to walk on a leash. He was tied to a tree his whole life and left in a basement all day. When I first got him, he would pull me all over the neighborhood. People would stop their cars and say "I don't think you're walking that dog, but that dog is definitely walking you!" I hired a dog obedience trainer, and he had me get a pinch/prong collar. That collar helped a little, but if he wanted to pull me somewhere, he would endure the pain of the pinch collar and still pull. I tried a harness, and while that was better than just a plain old collar, he still pulled like crazy. I then got the "Halti Opti Fit" collar. This definitely helped with pulling, but my dog hated being led with the strap underneath his chin. He would jerk his head side to side, and was just very unhappy (and i was very anxious and nervous). On top of that, the Halti Optifit broke after only 2 days. The material was thin and cheap. Enter the Canny Collar. This collar is wonderful. Well made, seems very durable, and a very smartly made collar. I got my dog the size 4. Initially I got him the size 3 because reviews on here said it runs big, but that was almost too small. If he even gains 2 lbs. more, the size 3 would not fit. He has a big neck and a long muzzle. My dog initially fought the strap that goes around his muzzle; he would try to pull it off with his paws and went crazy flying through the house! I walked him all over my house (indoors), and gave him a treat every 5 feet, and he relaxed after only 5-10 minutes. After only that initial craziness, he never fought the collar again. He walked on this leash so peacefully and calmly, it was amazing. He wouldn't pull me, and when we would walk past other dogs, he would pretty much keep walking (maybe a slight growl, but kept walking). I think this collar is sturdy and strong, and doesn't seem like it will ever slip off. I suggest you watch the video on the Canny Collar website to see how to put it on, because it's a little tricky at first. It only takes 1 time to figure it out.... I highly suggest this collar! Has brought me so much peace, has lessened my anxiety greatly (and my dog's), and is starting to make walking my dog a joy!!

THE best gentle lead design I have ever used!
I LOVE this! Could have sized down but didnt know how big my dog would get so size is still good. My 60lb bully mix is the tightest notch on the size 5. Functions WAY better than the crappy petsmart versions that pull to the side and fasten with a plastic clip a cat could break off. Love the blue color for my boy, nice and bright! I also love that I can take it off his muzzle without removing it, very convenient for training! I’ll sometimes put it on but not muzzle him with it so he knows if he acts up it goes on real quick! Metal clasps give a great sense of security on its durability too! I recommend it to everyone I encounter with a regular gentle lead! Wish i had this when I had my 80lb pitbull! Its AMAZING truly!

Effective and Humane
So far as I can tell, this is the most effective training device I've found for my 130-lb Golden. He's 6 years old and is an incredibly strong dog who loves to try to greet every animal and human he comes across. Nothing has worked quite so well as this collar in keeping him under control when we're out walking (full disclosure: as of late, we haven't walked in any busy areas with the collar on - I will update as soon as that happens). I've tried a Halti which he pawed off within seconds. I've tried a Gentle Leader which only kind of worked (it took him longer to get it off, but because it fastens under the chin it took just a few tries). I have been walking him on an Easy Walk harness, which slows him down somewhat, and it does keep him from stopping to get it off every few feet (as with the head harness), but because it still allows his head to go every which way, it's often still difficult to walk him. I have had to tire him out with a vigorous game of fetch before even thinking of walking him, up to now. I like the Canny Collar because it's much easier to use and more effective. It loosens up when he's not pulling, and because it fastens behind his head, there's nothing he can do to get it off his snout. I feel more secure when we're out walking because I know he's not going to catch me off balance with his pulling, plus my hand isn't sore from the death grip I have to keep on the leash otherwise. He hates it when I put it on and he spends a good 10-15 minutes of the walk dropping his head to try to remove it, or stopping dead when he can't. We're working on it though, and he'll just have to get used to it if he wants to go for walks!

BEST COLLAR EVER!!!
This is the BEST thing I have ordered on Amazon in a long time, I was at my wits end with my beautiful 1yr boxer. He is very smart, loving and listens pretty well at home but take him on a walk and oh my he turned into a terror. He pulled non stop, on high alert and if he saw another dog he would go bonkers, jumping and barking trying everything he could to try and get to the other dog. Now he has an 8ry old boxer brother, goes to the dog park often and is very friendly and super socialized (he’s is great at the dog park off leash except he never wants to leave). He is not aggressive at all but on a walk he is very reactive. My arm was getting pulled off by all the jumping and pulling. He also acted this way if he sees a bird, a squirrel anything that is small and moves. I have had SEVERAL dog trainers. I would go to dog training sessions, I had trainers come to my house. We tried personal trainers, I was taking him to dog training sessions since he was 4mo old. I watched a lot (it feels like a million) of dog training videos. I have bought every prong collar (from the cheapest to the most expensive), I have tried different rope collars, chain collars etc. I even tried sounded collars, vibrating collars and electric shock collars. Nothing helped, I mean nothing helped. Despite everything I did nothing worked to help curb his reactiveness. Even so I would still take him on a walk every single day. I often asked my brother to go on a walk with me because I needed a break from all the pulling. I started watching Cesar Millan and he had a short video on recommended dog training “tools”. He has a short clip on something he called a “Mexican Halti”. Also since my dog has a lot of energy (he’s a puppy) he also recommends a dog backpack (which also has been great). I then purchased this dog collar (similar to the “Mexican Halti” that Cesar spoke on). Can I just say that this was life changing for my dog and me. Honestly I did not expect much, I have been let down by every other item I have purchased for my dog. I have spent thousands at this point on him with no results. My dog although not 100% perfect on a walk he is much more calm, walks right next to me, does not pull on the leash. Does he want to go say hi to the dog across the street. Yes, yes he does but I am able to correct him pretty easy and he actually will listen and follow (after some gentle urging). The only “issue” I have with this collar is that since my dog is a short snouted and right at the line of a size 4 and size 5 (I got the size 5) it sometimes falls off his nose while on the walk. It comes off about 2-4 times. I can quickly get it back on him and it is usually not a big deal. Overall one of the best purchased of all time on Amazon. I 100% recommend this product. --- Update: I had the collar for a week or two until I decided that it slipping down was getting pretty annoying, so I ended up getting the size 4 (size down since I was in between sizes) this helped tremendously. So if you are right on the edge and you're not sure which size to get definitely size down in my opinion.

Finally a collar that let's me walk my enthusastic/stubborn dog
I have tried 3 other style of collars with my dog that did not work well for me, my dog, or both of us. A regular neck collar was not secure enough, choked my dog, and did nothing to keep my dog from pulling during the entire walk. This was incredibly uncomfortable and fatiguing to my arms. I then tried a simple rope loop collar, but this was worse as it also choked my dog while digging into my hands (although it was more secure). I then purchased a gentle leader collar that goes around the neck and has a muzzle loop that the leash attaches too. This worked a lot better as my dog could not pull hard on the lead without jerking his head around. This provided the security, and the arm relief that I needed, but my dog HATED IT and would constantly stop during the walk and try to pull it off his muzzle. He would also step over the leash when he lowered his head to sniff as he walked. The leash attaches to the lead under his muzzle, which would interrupt the walk as I re-routed the leash to avoid chaffing. I used this collar for about 2 years until I discovered this collar. This collar suffers from none of the problem of the prior collar/leashes. My dog does not step over the leash as it is attached behind his head. He cannot pull hard as the collar applies a corrective force that stops him, without choking or jerking of the head. Is is neither uncomfortable to him or I. My dog still does not like the feeling of the muzzle portion, but it's a huge improvement as he only picks at it at few times during the walk instead of constantly. The collar seems to be of exceptional quality. The material (nylon?) appears to be durable, with double rows of stitching, and eyelets are metal. The collar is a little difficult to setup at first, but then becomes easy to use. Note that you cannot use this with a long leash or retractable lead. If you relax too much pressure the muzzle loop will droop and slip off. That said, within a few minutes we both adjusted our walk style and I found it to be highly effective at controlling my dog without causing discomfort for either of us. My 14 year old child was able to get the hang of it after about 10 minutes. I would recommend this collar to anyone looking for a solution to walking a "spirited" dog. My dogs neck was right between 2 sizes, so I went with the recommended smaller size, and it fits perfectly.

Great head collar, best I have ever tried
My favorite all time head collar I use with my service pup when she is working. Lots of other head collars either have low durability, or they don't stay where they're supposed to, or they're uncomfortable for the dog. This is the only one that I've had that my dog seems to be truly comfortable with, and it really doesn't move around where it isn't supposed to. It's high quality materials, I'm just going to remove a lot of the excessive branding that's all over it. I will definitely be telling folks to get these, but having the brand all over it and their phone number is a bit much for me

Under chin does not lock like a gentle leader & parts missing
Products works as noted. The only problem is the carabiners that were supposed to to be attached to the collar (* instructions say to remove them before using) are not in package anywhere :/ My other dislike is that the underside of the chin, the plastic guider is free flowing (it does not lock into place). I’m going to use it and see if there’s a problem with it slipping off her nose. I do love that the leash fastens at the back of the neck which the gentle leader attaches under the chin before I think about returning it Love the color (purple) and the fit chart was correct yay!

Awesome training tool.
We love it!!! Absolutely love! My pup is almost a year now and we got it when he was around 8 months old. He never paid attention on walks and always lead with his nose. This head halter was a game changer. I had tried so many other postive training methods but we never made any progress over so many months. Starting to loose patience, and worrying that my training would never pay off, I bought the canny collar here on amazon. It came fast and in perfect condition. I measured my pup but the collar is still a little big, I am on the first hole but I still works great. Now that we have worked with the canny collar for several months we are transitioning to loose leash walking with a flat collar and things are going great! We also hope to transition to a front clip or back clip harness. Before the canny collar my husband would take the pup for a walk when I got too frustrated because we could only do small short walks and leash training sessions. My pup was just to distracted outside. And my husband didn't mind the pulling on the walks. For me it was so disheartening with all the effort and training we had put in. The day we got the canny collar I was so impressed! It was such a relief to be able to take the dog on a walk and know that we would be able to go a good distance. Me and pup took like 8 walks that first weekend we got the collar!! *** The canny collar has helped with - pulling, loose leash walking, communication between dog and owner, Improved communication between dog and leash, has helped with pup's anxiety with family walks when we have kids walking, some in wagons and some on bikes which used to be to much for the pup to handle with constant barking.
