I don't like the coffee syrups, I use straight vanilla or almond extract in my coffee. These pretty little bottles deliver just enough drops! Love it!

When I first contemplated buying these I thought the 1.7oz was going to be small but it fits most of the bitters from the original bottle and they look fantastic. Another thing I liked was the screw on top and rubber gasket combination. Does take a second to make sure you're threading it correctly but haven't experienced any leaks. In terms of flow rate these do smaller dashes. 4 Dashes or so is comparable to 1 dash from the original bitters bottle. However, when you're trying to make a fancy design on top of your egg whites these are far more controllable. I came back on here to buy another 3 and I figured because of that alone they deserved a recommendation!

What is a dash? For a bartender it is a quick turn of a bitters bottle with a precise shake. For me between a 1/32 and a full teaspoon. (Kinda kidding). I have a huge bottle of an absinthe flavored bitters which does not have the plastic insert to control the amount. I also have other bitters bottles that have the insert but still tough. Being who I am I searched the internet and found agreement that a "dash" is 1/8 tsp. This is fine if you need like 4 or five dashes to measure and can use a 1/2 tsp measuring spoon. This bottle is great for measuring out small amounts. Just tilting once and back up is about 1/2 dash. Tilt over and a small shake gets you the dash. I measured this into a measuring spoon and got the dash I wanted. I looked over quite a few regarding price and this is a great price. I didn't want spouts on corks, this has a screw on top. Has a couple small rubber toppers to seal and comes with a mini funnel.

Very poor quality. Only 1 in 3 where the top screws on normally. Others don't even close all the way, so they leak and are pretty much useless
