Well finely got my new BOSS AUDIO MR762BRGB Receiver hooked up and running, installed it in my 17 Foot Javelin Bass Boat I bought this summer that didn’t have a Stereo. I thought why not and searched for a Marine Stereo and found this one that had as I thought a lot of bells and whistles that I didn’t think I needed so much but man was I wrong after getting it installed, this thing is loaded! I hooked up a couple of Two way 6 X 9 Marine speakers I already had from Monoprice.com, installed them In plastic containers the size you would store your dress shoes in and sprayed in some spray foam under them and sounds pretty good I think. I had also bought the black plastic “Jensen Marine Water Resistant Stereo Housing” # MRH211BLACK, to try and keep it from getting to wet while out on the Lake (Pickwick Lake, Tennessee River). It fits just right and like how the front cover rotates back up over the receiver inside so it’s not like the others that’s like a lid that stays out in the way that could be broken, I like that it disappears up over the stereo out of the way, worth the extra few bucks like $6 ? I am total surprised by what I have bought, It’s a CD, SD card, USB reader, Bluetooth for your regular phone and for steaming your music from your phone to the receiver, never had that before, also has an auxiliary Input Jack on the front for your IPods & such, the CD player can play MP3/WMA you record yourself and will read it if you have a ID3 tag on it, the SD & USB will also read out the Titles song, artist, album name scrolling across the LCD screen for you, pretty neat really all this receiver will do. Even has Traffic Announcement for if you’re out on the road will break-in even while playing a song, neat!. And there are other things to boot. And the Face comes off if you want to store it out of the way anytime. You can choose between 7 different colors that light up the face or let it scroll thru them all I like the white the best so far probity be good in the sun as you can choose the best color then I think, even with the face shield down covering the receiver you can still see thru it real good. The sound is really good for this receiver says it 60 watts per channel, but you know how that goes, not to bad listening in the garage after I had it hooked up, but still as loud as I wanted, I’m hard of hearing anyway so I ordered a BOOS AMP that should be here next week (12/15/15) it’s the BOSS AUDIO CE102 Chaos Epic 100-Watt Full Range, Class A/B 4-8 Ohm Stable 2 Channel Amplifier. I’m thinking it will be enough to push the speakers loud enough for me, more than likely. So as of right now, OH did I mention that I got this thru Amazon Warehouse deals for only, get this $76.94, HA! And searched around for the AMP and though it wasn’t much less got it for $18.72, yep got both from warehouse deals, I think I paid around $45.00 bucks or less for the speaker, I think it was $12.67 for the Jensen housing, so I think I got about $165.00 bucks invested and even speaker wire. I have to say I’m impressed so far with BOSS AUDIO so far, I didn’t think I would have gotten so much bang for the buck as I have with going with BOSS AUDIO, I’ve changed my mind about a brand I thought wasn’t that good, I was thinking of just getting a receiver that didn’t have half the things that are on this one like Bluetooth, CD, SD,USB,AUX JACK, oh yeah forgot a WIRELESS REMOTE TO BOOT! And there is a APP for your phone you can download from Google, it’s the whole kit and kabootul here and the sound is great, I had it turned up all the way and with the 6 X 9 speakers I didn’t even here any distortion so I want that AMP and I think I’ll have a kick ASS system in my boat. Anyway you can’t go wrong here especially for the price, yeah I got mine cheaper and would do it again, I think I’ve have a system that a $500.00 buck system can’t bet and have plenty money left to fix up my boat better and a great sound system to boot! I say if you’re looking for looking for something that isn’t expense’s you won’t go wrong with this one, I’m sure some will think ain’t no way it will sound that good, I think you’ll be surprise as much as I was after getting it hooked up and running. For my boat this is more than I needed but like I said for the price? Just do it!!!

So far so good! Just installed it last night and all works and sounds good. I have it hooked to a cheap Vibe 1000w amp and 4 Lanzer 6x9's. The Bluetooth is working great! It connects to my phone as soon as I turn it on and I have not experienced the short reception issue like some of the reviewers. I had my phone in my pocket this morning and walked to my neighbors trailer, the music in the boat that is parked under my awning never faltered. It fit ok in the Pyle weather proof stereo mount, was just a little bit loose. I had no issue getting it all installed nice and tight. If it lasts a couple years it is an amazing value. If it fails I will update. Pros: It is shorter than an average CD player and light weight which makes mounting easier. Controls and Bluetooth easy to operate I never opened the guide or instructions. Bluetooth makes changing music and volume easy from the drivers seat using smartphone. Price! Cons: feels light and cheap. Harness plugs feel cheap and do not snap in tight.

This seems like a good boat stereo receiver. Wires are well marked, but kinda small with 18 ga wires. I hooked it up and it performed well, except I needed more power for the 4 speakers on the boat. No problem. I added a small Pyle 300W amp. The Boss logic is pretty good. All I need is the bluetooth connection. I don't know why all these stereos need radio, AUX, and a microphone. For the price this is definitely worth it.

We renovate homes and big boats, so I researched the many varieties of marine grade radios according to ratings from purchasers on Amazon, for months and finally decided to get the Boss Audio Systems MR762BRGB model with speakers on November 24th shopping day for me to gather items for upcoming installs. Received it in December, and stored it until we were ready for the electronics upgrade which was July, 6 months later. Medical issues kept us behind a few months. My husband installed it at the boat shop and it did not turn on. No power inside the radio. So he checked power to the radio and the fuse and that was good. He did a reset several times and it still did not show power, no screen lighting or sound from the speakers. So he called the Tech support number and spoke to a tech from the company to troubleshoot the issue, only to be told it was an internal problem and directed him to purchase another one with a 15% discount. REALLY? I would buy another crap radio from the same mfg.? What a horrible experience. Lesson learned. Value for the money-0. Thanks slot BOSS Audio Systems for wasting my money on a first time buy for a Marine radio from an unknown mfg.

Strange. I hooked it up correctly but no power. then I unhooked it and hooked it up again and it turned on, but only the radio. then 1 by 1 all the features began to work. Now it is completely working. I am not sure weather it is my phone screwing up or what but every now and then the music player on my phone comes on and I have to dink with it. I have had BT failures every once in a great while as well. I think it is my phone but...

For the price I couldn’t be happier. The packaging was clearly new and never opened, got here fast, standard plugs so it was a direct plug and play into my mini excavator that was pre wired from the factory. Comes with the mounting cage, only flaw is without the faceplate trim attached you can push the head unit passed the mounting cage because it doesn’t have any stops for depth, I just make sure the faceplate is secure and don’t push on it hard. Bluetooth operates smooth, easy setup and connects very fast with all my device feature tones playing through the system as well. FM radio works great, colors look great, the display is good but hard to see in the daylight without making a shadow with your hand or something to block the Sun/reflection but that’s minor to me. During night hours or cloudy days you can see just fine at any angle. Overall very very happy and would purchase again.

c'est une bonne radio, le cd ne saute pas dans les vagues, même quand sa brasse pamal, le son ne distorsionne pas vraiment, ca joue très bien même à volume élevé , le Blue tooth fonctionne bien aussi, j'ai mon appel drette dans le bateau, les modes de son pré réglé sont bien balancer, le rock est rock, le disco ca sonne disco, bref je le suggère, j'ai pas essayer 25 model, yen na peut être de meilleur mais pour celui-la,,,,,, chu SATISFAIT et vraiment contant de mon achat,

Replaced the existing stereo in my Cabin cruiser, works well, I would buy again. Takes a little to figure out with the phone as it will drop the music and pu incoming calls, then you have to go back and select blue tooth, however the price and function are worth the nuance's.
