They changed the colour!
Nice set of WW2 RAF figures, if you want to add some realism to a diorama. Or just to play with! Nice variety of poses and also includes a couple a trolley acc's-indispensable to start most, if not all,ww2 prop planes. I had a set back in the 70s which were a yellowish colour, these, however, are black, for some reason. Which I'd think would make them harder to paint. Anyway. Recommended

Great fun
Perfect for application! Taken on a stag do to Manchester for toms Stag do and played the army men game! Various positions into a bag and each member pulling one out, pulled them out in the red Lyon and mixed response, many keen but few sceptical, matthews stating that an idea like this was bold whilst big was out right refusing to play as he stated “this ain’t a cheap jumper” after pulling a lying soldier, regretfully I allowed a second draw from the bag with the first being passed to badge! Karma…. Another lying down figure…. Perfect! Aim of the game When positions shout was called, don’t be the last stag into position! With soldiers in hand and questions on minds, the stag left the Lyon and proceeded down to the first booking of the day, a quick call of positions left Jase in last position! Early sightings were strong and commitment had been made to the game, a quick swing into a park where the first punishment was to take place, the loser versus Tom…. Every time…without fail. A bottle of beer and a chugging device for each person laid bare in a circle created by the stags would have been enough for most people to cotton on…. But jase wanted an explanation…. Explanation given and am measily second place for jade after wearing most of the contents of the bottle! On to the pub, with a quick cameo appearance made on tv which was greeted with animosity by the host, not to be put off we carried on! Leaving the stags for a short while to accompany Davies to the charity shop for a quick outfit for the stag, returning to the group and fitting Tom with his new( far from new) charity shop trainers, nail polish, man united beany ( Beaming with glory, a team unrivalled by many, the only team in history to win the true Treble! Many have tried but only failed) fitted with this new kit and a false confidence, calling “I’m bored “ on various occasions, only to be supplied with 5 shots and soon crying “can my dad have one”, the stag was put in his place! And members of the group began to shine, jase and daz a showing enthusiasm, Neil and Shaun well and truely warmed up. Now apologies if the story gets hazy from here but multiple beers had and memory aging, on to a canal street, prime time canal street, 3pm Saturday afternoon, bar bare but unnerved the stag group marched to the bar, beers ordered, tables attended and chat aplenty! A key change by the DJ, karaoke had been started…. The entrepreneur…. Jase!!! Brilliant….. the song

RAF crew
A nice selection of RAF crew. As a keen modeller, particularly WW2 aircraft thought I would enhance my display with some figure. 1/72 is quite small but they were well detailed, very little flashing.

Retro military figures
Seems to be fewer figures in the box now than I remember as a kid.
