Spend the extra money and buy this one
Good quality, clear instructions. Relatively simple installation. Much better than the knock off brand I bought previously. Well worth the extra money to buy this one

Necessity for lifted Jeeps.
Purchased my JKU with a 6 inch lift already installed, prior owner did nothing with the driveshaft so the front joint on the transfer case wore out and was making noise. Easy to install for someone with some mechanical ability, and so far itās made it 20,000 miles with no issue.

Read instruction and follow step by step, and it will go smoothly and resolved my problem.
Replaced my front drive shaft u-joint on my 2013 Jeep Rubicon, old boot ripped, and grease came out and had a grinding sound and binding while in 4-wheel drive. Good quality and easy to install within an hour or so.

Very good kit but instructional flaws and should include other tool and extra CV clamp
This kit addresses a flaw that Fiat/Chrysler should have addressed in the first place, especially on the front driveshaft to transfer case. There is very little clearance for the clamp for the boot for not rubbing and destroying the boot prematurely when traveling on uneven surfaces/roads. The Terra Flex replacement is great but is not a easy solution nor will it make taking the front drive shaft out for any type of other repairs easy. I replaced the joint on my 2015 2 door and it is straight forward for a mild mechanic. I would include a shorter 6mm ball hex in the kit to get the proper torque spec and specify engaging the rear cover atleast 95% on evenly for the unit to draw into the transfer case shaft properly. I would also include a second shorter boot clamp as beginners will screw the first up and the clamp is way to long and should not be doubled or tripled wrapped since clearance caused the failure in most case to begin with. I had this kit together and in in under 3 hours and using a deadblow hammer with a wood block to engage the rear cover to transfer case end almost fully should be in the instructions. The transfer case flange should be cleaned or lightly sanded or the 15ft torque lb spec will be inaccurate.I supported the driveshaft parallel to the transfer case for install with a adjustable jack stand to get it to go in straight. I would also measure the transfer case to Rzeppa joint bolt stick out since if the unit did not draw straight in which will cause the end 15ft lb torque to be in adequate to seat the upper part into the transfer case.Do Not use a power ratchet or Impact gun to Draw in the joint to transfer case flange!!! The bolts need to be drawn in slowly or flange with CV boot damage may occur. The longest part of the install was this and removing it may necessitate a new joint unit for the front driveshaft unless you clean it up good for rust etc. Overall this is a Great kit for the 3 Rzeppa joints found in the Jeep JK system, but better instructions are needed or premature fail or even catastrophic at highway speeds may happen.

Expensive, but Needed !!!
Nice replacement for the old bearing and boot!! You would think that as much as you pay for them the bearings would all ready packed whit grease. Instead you get a plastic container of grease, with no applicator spout to fill in the voids of the bearing. The grease supplied is so thin that trying to pack it with the grease is messy and wasteful. I put masking tape over all the bolt holes and used a pair of plyers and smashed the grease tube flat to apply the grease in the voids. Now putting the bolts into the bearing requires long fingers or three hands, but it can be done it just takes a while!! The banding provided to secure the boot to the axle shaft was a failure. I just did it the old fashion way to I used two pieces of bailing wire to secure the boot to the shaft! Wala !!!

Easy to install and working great
During my last trip up Metal Masher in Moab last year I started hearing the tell-tale clicking sound of a back drive-line joint. After a little investigation and Googling I pin-pointed the problem to the CV joint on my front drive shaft. As I have a lifted JK it is a fairly common problem with the sharper angle on the shaft. I did some research and decided that I wasn't yet ready to fork out the few hundred bucks to by an aftermarket shaft (when/if the stock one fails all together I'll be in the market). I came across this replacement joint which is designed to allow for steeper angles and decided to get it a try. The install was pretty simple and TeraFlex makes great install videos (love your dry sense of humor Dennis!). One tip... if you pull apart the shaft to make it easier to work on be sure to mark it first! You need to know how to line it back up when putting it back together!

Awesome product!
I blew out the factory part mudding. I found out it is common on lifted wranglers. This part was an easy replacement and fixed the clunking in the front end that started while using 4x4, and gradually bled into 2x4. Highly recommend.

After reading some bad reviews I was hesitant to buy these (2) I feel the quality of the joints are equal to O.E parts, installation is relatively easy, probably easier if your not laying on your back in the driveway by yourself, anyway the grease that comes with the product seems pretty light duty and low quality, so spend a few bucks and get a good high pressure grease. Be sure to review the instructions and build these the right way with the bevel on the spline facing inward to the shaft or the other joint. And make sure to put your bolts in while assembling the joints on the shaft or you will fight with them later, trust me. I would purchase these again, thanks!
