Great bang for the buck.
Price point is great. Motor is strong. Clutching is pretty good. No water leaks and it's nice to have a water valve at the drill. So far, we've drilled a few 17" and 18" deep holes through some serious stone. For the 18", we got in about 6" and chipped out an inch or two of the core. No headaches or fear of failure so far. Having two levels on the unit is also pretty nice.

Recommend
I purchased this drill kit to drill holes thru stem walls for plumbing pipe and it works well. Does require a steady hand and some physical strength but it's not hard to use. I do wish the bits were built to accomadate plumbing pipe. You must use the 3" bit to install 2" pipe due to the pipe walls actual O.D. size.

Great value
First day I cored through patio paver blocks. Drilled 2@4” holes in first gear like nothing was there. Should have gotten the stand. The water valve is nice, but I found I only needed to open it half way to get a nice flow. Seems solidly built. My only complaint is the water connections are cheap, and I had to keep tightening them up.

Very strong drill
Very strong drill. Don't assume all hose connections are tight out of the box. Tighten them yourself.

Junk
Piece of junk broke first time I tried to drill a hole in brick wall. Wasn't even a center block wall

You need decent upper body strength if you're going to use this
Have not used item yet as I purchased it for an upcoming water heater installation, however a few things I noticed right off the bat...- This drill is heavy! I can imagine it will end up being pretty tiring having to hold this thing up while drilling through a concrete wall. It does have a shoulder rest, so there's that, but I'm seriously considering buying the stand to make life easier for myself when using this. It won't be used often, but like I said, it is very heavy.-the water line appears to be extremely cheap, so I will most likely replace with better parts ...not too difficult, a couple hose clamps to take off and that's about it-not sure why the speed dial is so hard to move, but it isWill update review after I use for the job.Update: So as I suspected the water connection was not very well-thought-out, tightened hose clamps as tight as I could by hand, but the connection blew apart at the shutoff valve...I ended up using a cordless ratchet to tighten the hose clamps, and it's no longer blowing apart.Other than that it performs excellently. I recommend shelling out the extra $200 for the stand, it'll be a million times easier on your back and arms.
